I could be wrong but I think Brown and Hughes may be entitled to free transfers if they are offered new terms that are inferior to their existing ones. So they maybe pick up a signing on fee elsewhere whilst the club gets nada except a potential salary saving. Correct me if I'm wrong. (JGH puts on tin helmet).

Hmmm... at the risk of receiving personal abuse on this I find myself in agreement with Corp on this one. Some of the invective displayed in this post is quite disgusting, particularly the Al Queda and "dropping aircraft" comments, and only reinforced by the particularly bad grammar and spelling displayed. You really should be ashamed of yourself holepuncture for posting such disgraceful comments. And for what it's worth, as it's clearly beyond you, Macks' posts are more often than not covered in irony and I don't imagine his comments should have been taken that seriously. He does appear to be aware of what's really happened at his club unlike some of his felloe supporters.

To be fair to the bloke I haven't heard him talk about his time at Norwich much either. I seem to remember seeing him score a cracking goal in a pre season friendly at Brighton very early on in his career, or was it a Cup game - time has clouded my memory. I do however remember feeling very surprised and disappointed when he was sold to Norwich for a quite low fee even in those days and thinking we had let a potentially very good player go for peanuts. I think his subsequent career with Villa and Republic of Oireland proved me right. I think insulting the guy just because he doesn't refer to us is out of order, however.

Pretty much the same situation. Any lender will want to know if anyone other than you, over the age of 16 (I think) , the borrower is occupying the property so that a disclaimer can be signed by your lodger stating thay will have no legal claim in terms of occupation of the property should you default on the loan. This therefore ensures the property can be sold with vacant possession should it be necessary to repossess. Trust that helps.

Absolutely NOT true my rodent like friend. As I stated above it is mortgage fraud and you could find yourself blacklisted from obtaining any mortage from any other lender. Do not do it.

As a piece of general advice do not buy any leasehold property with under about 75 years left on the lease and if you do get the lease extended as soon as you can. The closer it gets to 60 years the more the freeholder has you over a barrel and the more it will cost you. I did a valuation on a flat here in Worthing last summer with only 57 years left on the lease and the freeholder wanted £20,000 to renew. There are literally thousands of flats on the market right now many of which will never sell because of the low number of years left on the lease. Under 60 years is unacceptable to all lenders and will be unmortgagable. The going rate in Sussex right now is anything between £10K and £20K depending how many years are left on the lease. And then you will also get whacked for a much higher Ground Rent - a £50 pa GR can easily rise to £250 pa - unless you have owned the property for a certain number of years. So to thesaint sfc get some proper advice from a Chartered Surveyor who specialises in leasehold renewals and a good solicitor to act for you. Bl00dy good luck mate.

If you don't inform them, technically, you have committed mortgage fraud which could cause problems for you down the line. As a surveyor/valuer I quite frequently come across this situation where people have a tenant but have not informed the lender. Do not do it. Somehow, they will find out - particularly if I have to value your property for a remortgage application. I know the signs and was not born yesterday....!!

£50 on each home game would stop me going as well. My costs are approx. 2 gallons of diesel (for the car, not me) from Worthing and back £10 ?, parking £4.20, hot choc at the stadium £1.50. Definately no beer as I'm driving but I do stop for a pint at my local, just to laugh at all the Chelski/Manure plastics watching Sky, before I go home. Total cost approx £18.50. Oh and a packet of Nobby's Nuts with my pint, another 70p. I know how to really live, you know.
