The Official Licensed Sticker Album (Panini) Brasil 2014
NY Saint replied to MINIBARCELONASAINT's topic in Buy / Sell
Anyone giving the Virtual album a whirl? Naturally I'd be one of the only sad gits in NY trying to swap with myself if I did the physical album so I'll make do with virtual. http://en.stickeralbum.fifa.com/game/flash?start_view=start Can setup a group if there's ANY interest from others. -

Unsubscribed. Sadly that also meant I lost out on beIN sport but I'm trying to narrow my focus to Southampton. Preferably on the pitch only so that I don't spend endless hours pouring over details of off field activity.

Nice, does it auto populate articles or do you have to manually submit?

Sorrows well and truly drowned - watched the game on my laptop in the end. Very disappointing.

Got in fairly late last night and was out with clients, will be free until 4:30pm ish today and have both laptop and tablet with me. Staying at the Cosmopolitan and the work event tonight is from 5:00pm to 9pm ish - if you're around might be fun to watch. Its an attempt at the most cocktails made in an hour by one person and he's aiming for 1004.

Hey Will or anyone else in Las Vegas for the Villa game on Wednesday? I'm there for work tomorrow night and flying out Thursday morning.
-
Yes, there's a few out there - Tijuana Tim, San Diego Saint from memory.

Dominated the first half. Fulham sitting off and trying to pack the midfield, but Saints very patient and finding a way through it. Lallana has been excellent, and running of the ball has been superb. The level of fitness and running is wearing out the Fulham back line. Would like to think we can push on from here, maintain the defensive high line with Morgan and Victor picking up anything loose just in front of our centrebacks. Clyne isn't having much joy, but JWP's delivery of crosses etc is as good as I've ever seen it.

NBC has had an impressive start last week with a few teething problems. Was on the road again this weekend, and had my laptop and iphone with me, so I was able to watch multiple games on multiple devices (Saints and Villa), including the Palace game in a cab on my way to another airport. The game showed up on both devices a day or two before Saturday, however the game didn't start playing until a few mins into first half, and there was significant lag between smartphone and laptop by 30 secs or so. The program presentation is simple and doesn't get in the way of the football, and there's none of that AWFUL Fox nonsense with terrible voiceovers/fake glossy graphics etc. Lineker looked exhausted and don't know if he'll be able to maintain essentially hosting both countries. The Saints vs Sunderland game has replaced the Newcastle game on NBC (Altidore's PL debut?) so that will feel like a regular televised game hopefully. The on-demand replays allows for viewing of either half, an interesting touch. I had a lot of screen corruption on the Saints game I tried to watch when I got home on Monday. Otherwise, seemed ok. Quite impressed so far.

Fantasy Premier Leagues are open for registration
NY Saint replied to NY Saint's topic in The Saints
Nice one Saint Garrett. -
Here's the lineup of games being broadcast in the US until December. I might be getting very fat, not moving from my sofa and seeing every game of ours this coming season. http://worldsoccertalk.com/premier-league-tv-schedule/

Just had a chat with Comcast and they're not even aware Premier League broadcast rights have been bought by NBC... FSC is part of a sports package I'm paying $9 a month for and will drop that once NBC starts. The only piece I'm slightly skeptical about is how to access NBC Sports Live Extra Here's the lineup until December: http://worldsoccertalk.com/premier-league-tv-schedule/

Although I've been about as much use as Vegard Forren last few seasons, the Fantasy Premier League is back open for registration. I've forgotten whose run the past few years, thanks for the work, care to do the same again this season? Five improvements NBC could make to the lives of fans of the EPL: 1) Avoid introducing the cringeworthy deep-throat voiceover promos Fox uses 2) Employ thoughtful commentators that add insight to the game. Preferably individuals that can describe a goal being scored without simply resorting to bellowing the players name. 3) Provide access to all games even with a nominal subscription fee on cable or satellite. 4) Include a comprehensive highlights package with knowledgeable pundits in studio - not Eric Wynalda, Ian Wright and definitely not that ***** that spouts "Onion bag" at every opportunity. 5) Integrating MLS and European league football is fine as long as the program is not dominated by Europa and Champions League nonsense. We've just got to make sure we're around to enjoy it.

You'll want to have a look at the sports bar (sports book in local parlance) at the Mandalay Bay - they show EPL games, and I watched the Utd demolition of Arsenal there in 2011. LV Saint often posts on here as well - nice guy.

Would love to see the forward passing stats to compare NA to MP style - the last couple of games it appears, to me at least, that we're moving forward with the ball and pressing higher up the pitch than with Adkins. Fewer passing moves break down going forward necessitating the ball going all the way back to our keeper from opposition's half. We're also regaining possession higher up the pitch which probably helps.

Feb 9 12:30pm Southampton vs Manchester City Sportsnet, Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Deportes, ESPN UK / HD, TalkSport Radio, Fox Sports 1 Australia, SiriusXM FC, Fox Sports Play Lovely.

Evening all. Late arrival but have been watching since half time and we've dominated second half so far. was it like this in the first half? And what happened to Luke Shaw? Puncheon and Gaston off at half time? Any idea why those changes were made? Apologies for all the questions.

HD makes all the difference as the NTSC / PAL conversion looks horrible in SD. I've managed to record the last two games and watch them without seeing the score beforehand - and the results have been good. What was a little odd to notice, was that we appeared to win a half and maintain the score for a half in each game. Playing to our limited resources? What's been apparent from the last couple of games, aside from needing at least two centerbacks, a quality keeper (can we somehow combine our current three keeper's best traits?) and possibly another striker, is we need another attacking playmaker if Adam is out longterm as we really only have Rickie and Gaston and once they're pulled into the mire of holding midfield there's no one to force the ball forward. Spiderman and Davis have been excellent this season but it takes a lot to control the Premier league midfields.

Here's a dodgy feed of the Sunderland game. http://www.vipbox.tv/football/108323/5/southampton-fc-vs-sunderland-live-stream-online.html
