  1. I think there will be an explosion up in the Alps, unexplained until they read this site.
  2. It's just nerves. Everyone will have them, even our players I expect tbh. If we play even 50% as well as we can, we'll win.
  3. I remember the panic against Southend 5 years ago, but that was much more squeaky than this. If i remember rightly we needed to win by a couple of goals to guarantee it? Might be wrong though. We did the biz against Southend though in a very similarly setup game.
  4. And their best midfielder, Sammy Clingan. By all accounts they will be fielding alot of squad and youth players according to their fans.
  5. A bit sad.
  6. They do have Clive Platt though to be fair.
  7. I don't think we'll freeze, this isn't Real Madrid we're playing. All the pressure was on us going to P'Boro, going to Palace, both better teams than Coventry - and we won at a canter without much trouble. We will have a full house, a terrific atmosphere and up against a team with a 16 year old making his debut at CB alongside Rickie Lambert, and one of our own 'not good enough' players in Craine. If we play as we did against Portsmouth, Reading, Doncaster, spells in the M'Boro game then we'll win at a canter. I don't get the logic of people saying that Coventry will be tricky as they have nothing to play for. So why were Leicester going to be a walkover for WHU because they had nothing to play for? At the end of the day it's always clear to see, when teams have nothing to play for they drop off a %. It always happens, you cannot help it. As a player or any professional when you haven't got anything to play for your drive will not be as high as it would have been. They are up against a team that are a win from the premier league, we have the leagues best player and the leagues best midfielder. Let's just enjoy the day and embrace the opportunity we have. The players will not let this chance slip and Coventry will not know what's hit them.
  8. Demonstrated that he isn't, and never was, a professional football player.
  9. If we score draw. If it's 0-0 3-0 will be enough for them.
  10. This week is now going to insanely drag.
  11. At least it's not on Sky I guess.
  12. This. A truly inept professional footballer, how he ever made it in the professional game beggars belief.
  13. They will trounce Hull, so we need to win. Tonight's result was always going to happen, you could see it as soon as Leicester went in front. There was no way Leicester could continue to withstand the onslaught, and they didn't. They made a good effort, but when you've got nothing to play for there is no doubt that you lose a competitive %. The last day it is, well and truly in our hands and it's exactly how I thought it would go. Don't panic.
  14. here goes the 2nd half.
  15. I must admit, I've tried to convince myself that tonight would be relaxing viewing as it'll be in our hands whatever. But I feel sick at this moment.
  16. Yep, a certain Mr Chaplow galvanized our midfield and turned us around.
  17. He's scored some important goals and hasn't been as bad as half harp on about, but he's not in contention for player of the season. That's just silly.
  18. It will be like the Birmingham game in the 2nd half IMO, but Leicester haven't got that 2 goal advantage.
  19. I think he's crap personally, well past it. WHU fans agree too. Noble on the other hand is someone I'd snap up.
  20. Without a doubt, WHU look full of goals tonight. But we'll go into the final day with it in our hands.....brilliant position.
  21. The first season in the championship under Burley, funnily enough our final game of the season was at home to Leicester if i remember right! I'll never forget the FT whistle and the bloke in front of me looking so ecstatic as he said ''WE'VE FINISHED IN THE TOP HALF!!!!"
  22. A very intense game so far, credit to Leicester who have put alot into that first half - but West Ham are forcing the play and looking the more dangerous by a mile. If West Ham continue to play like they have and force the chances that they have, it's difficult to see past them scoring a couple. Let's just hope Leicester hit them on the break as Marshall and Dyer on the flanks are frightening.
