  1. He's obviously one of them in the minority then. We had a few fans not so long ago that were saying similar about Lallana, but I can tell you that the good majority of Milwall fans rate him as a v good player.
  2. For goodness sake, you can't read anything into that.
  3. Appointing Adkins would not help them get the fans back on their side. I'm not saying Adkins is a bad manager at all, but he hasn't - yet - quite got the profile of a manager that they'd expect. AvB is a sound choice. Very talented manager, but was given incredibly tough conditions to work in at Chelsea. Would be good to see him get given another chance, and possibly the opportunity and scope to rebuild a club.
  4. Would agree with that, he was right up there in 2000 with the best strikers in the world. Let's hope Jack Wiltshire's career isn't similar....as he's now suffered a serious knee injury, on top of his constant ankle injuries.
  5. To be honest to me it seems as if he's lost all hunger for football, alot of his time is devoted in horses. He's a good football person, but not much of a player anymore it's sad to say. He will possibly retire.
  6. a twitter feed called football rumours, or something similar. Nothing that credible anyway, but noises are occurring.
  7. Alot is being made of his 'one' mistake, people are ignoring the fact that he's been pretty much ever present for City in their title winning squad. On the whole he's probably been one of englands best performing centre backs.
  8. According to reports Southampton have had a bid accepted for Burnley's Jay Rodriguez, although neither club have confirmed this. #SFC #BFC Ok, just another random twitter feed, but interesting I guess.
  9. Davis v Leeds, easily. Followed by Lambert v Millwall away.
  10. If we do end up getting both, it would signal the start of an excellent transfer window IMO. I think it's pretty clear we're genuinely interested in Jarvis tbh and I'm pleased that we're looking at players of this level.
  11. Don't see the point in any drastic changes. There's not much wrong with how we play at the moment in terms of formation and tactics.
  12. Good pictures MLG, that really shows what's changed.
  13. John Ruddy is Norwich's first choice goal keeper, and has been a key part in the reason they've done so well in the Premier league. I think it kind of shows a bit of ignorance with a post like that.
  14. A similar player to Huddelestone, has the potential to make a similar impact. Strong, classy on the ball, box to box and a nice range of passing. He'd thrive at this club IMO.
  15. I'd be gutted if we signed Jones.
  16. Hart Johnson - Cahill - Terry - Cole Barry - Parker Chambo Lampard Young Carroll Why not plump for Oxo? Might as well throw him in...he's good enough and we don't have much else. I'd go with Lampard because he's played more, and in that position you're giving him the freedom that he has at Chelsea. That formation is kind of similar to Chelsea years ago. Duff on one side, Robben on the other, Drogba up top and Lampard in behind...and that worked wonders for him and his goal scoring tally.
  17. About time too. I wonder if the scousers will have an annual day of mourning for this?
  18. I don't think he's great, he's made to look better as he's got Nani/Rooney/Giggs around him - but he's a pretty average player in terms of his all-round game. He seems a decent finisher though when he gets an opportunity.
  19. Stunned at Downing being called up, I think he's utter utter ****. As he's proven all year. His best game came against championship opposition, which I think tells you all you need to know. I hope he's barley used. Pleased for OX, good player. Not just pace but great technical ability and awareness. He's kind of a wild-card for us as not alot will know too much about him, so as long as we play him, we'll get positives results from this IMO. The midfield looks ploddy though, not much dynamism in there. I'd have not taken both Parker and Barry, both similar. I'd have gone with Carrick and Parker IMO.
  20. They're not wasting their time are they.
  21. I'd be pleased with Trotter, I think he's a good player. Very much in the mold of Huddelstone.
  22. Well this is a strange thread. Not sure what it's about.
  23. lol @ people spreading rumours about Paul Konchesky being the backup LB...
  24. That's what seems to be coming out at the mo via journos on twitter.
  25. Phil Jagelka also rumored to be missing out. Carroll looks to be going, and so does Joe Cole...?
