Nice post. The run you're on is very reminiscent of the run we went on last year, so credit to you for that. You've got yourselves a bunch of experienced winners there who know how to lead you over the line. I hope we make it up with you, and I'd be surprised if we didn't. We can both give it a good crack next year.

4. WHU start really well, but don't get the early goal. They then huff and puff through the rest of the game with the crowd getting on their back at every misplaced pass. In the 85th minute Brighton break down the right side with Will Buckley, who crosses for CMS to take a deflected shot which is put in by Barnes at the far post. and that would be an amazing Saturday.

Don't agree with that, we've played this way lots of times. Leeds away being the main stand out smash and grab of the decade.
-
Don't forget WHU have 4 games left, so they can achieve 88 points maximum. We can achieve 91 points - so to make 100% sure we need 2 wins and a draw, but I don't think it'll take that much personally.

Their game at Leicester is very tricky, it's 2 days after we play as well so they may have all the pressure on them in that game. I think that's the weekend it'll be pretty much done and dusted.

We got the striker we needed in Lee, but ultimately injury put paid to that. He'd probably have taken us over the line as we looked so dynamic with him in the team. So it's a bit harsh to say we didn't bring in the additions we needed, because we did.

yep, it's back. Ordering online now

I 'think' this is the featured game on the FL Show, so there should be a stream.

This. We don't let teams have a great deal of oppertunites against us because we often have the ball, that's the most important thing. Unfortuntltley they took the 3 chances they had. Bang. They kind of reminded me of Derby in away, but not as bad. Alot of their balls were long and aimless, just looking for an area rather than a particular player, and the ease at which we moved the ball and switched the play will be worrying for them (Same happened in the brighton game).

Good cause, but a little premature me thinks. Almost as bad as WHU arranging their thames cruise party. -
I hope you're happy with yourself Crazy Diamond.

The sort of signing that changes a season. Just a shame Sharp isn't that sort of character! He'll make a great manager when he retires.

Yep, systems are down f'sure. Logged into the site but there are no matches on display. We're sorry, there are no matches/products matching your search.

I think you can get short-term success from it, but after a while (as we saw with Debry to a more extreme level) you get found out and once teams are better at coping then yo have no chance. If we stick our principles we will have a more sustained successful future, I'm sure of it.

oh for crying out loud. If you were critising a GK on their kicking ability last night, look no further than Federici. Good GK - but his distribution was mainly pants.
-
Well I can't get onto the online site...getting all sorts of weird and wonderful errors. The system has always struggled when hit with a big demand. It's like saintsweb of old.

The pompey away game was on TV.
-
That's a stupid thing to say, how are they coming into a rich vein of form exactly????? They've been **** for weeks.
-
A lot of people just want us to ''GET IT UP THERE'' - as was illustrated by a few around me last night, but ''GETTING IT UP THERE'' hasn't lead to our success this year. Paitent passing and working the angles for a cross has got us where we are, why fans panic so much and go back to the typical 'english' way of 'HIT AND HOPE' is beyond me. Have trust in the way we play because it will win you more than constant long balls.

arrggh can't get onto the online sales site. Can't wait for that to be upgraded, it really is pants.

Depends if we've beaten Posh and Boro before hand
-
He was great against Palace, but was a little poor in the first half last night. His touch was off and that swinging miss hit summed his half up! He was fired up though and he would have been sent off, that's why he was pulled. I'd still start him @ Posh.
-
He doesn't fit the team under adkins, and hasn't since day 1. He was brought back and played with a fair bit of effort - but that was it. I don't think he's an Adkins type of player, which is why he's been cast adrift since he's been manager tbh. I wouldn't be surprised if he's upset someone again either, whatever the case he's a wasted talent. He'll go elsewhere in the summer.
-
Puncheon does not fit the team here, for watever reason. Adkins has decided that. He's a funny one. Falque looked like a little boy lost on his debut, and I know it was only 45mins but there was a reason why he was hurled off at HT.

If they lose today then we can really start planning for the premier league, as it will be pretty much all over. As much as I'd love that to happen I can't see it because Brighton can't score, they create chances and keep the ball - but they can't seem to score enough. If WHU play like they did in the 2nd half against Brum they will pummel them it pains me to say.
