Lee - out for 4-6 months according to Japanese press
S-Clarke replied to shurlock's topic in The Saints
Lee is injured right foot stepped on during practice March 13, then was followed by a bench outside. And 19 days in his blog, publish photos of the place of the injured remain spike marks, "I think there is no bone or ligament injury is expected to recover from an error at about 1 week, and able to return soon" had to comment. Results of re-examination, found that damage to the ligaments of his right leg, but it was decided to surgery. According to officials, the outlook take four to six months to heal completely. -
What a stupid thing to say.

Guly looked better than Sharp yesterday in my eyes....

Sam Gallagher - Plymouth Argyle youth player to sign for Saints
S-Clarke replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Nice. Plymouth have a record of producing some very handy players. We seem to always be on the lookout which is positive! So much happening off the field that we're not aware of. -
This. We started okish, but were criminal at the back and gave away so many errors. Poor show all round, we just didn't turn up at all.

Don't remember Lambert taking a while to settle with us, he kind of hit the ground running really and didn't look back. You could see the attributes he had straight away, and although not fully fit he was always going to be a handful. I think Sharp needs to improve his confidence and I'm sure he'll look better once he's done that, but I'm struggling to see any ability and he slows our game down big time.

Can't be doing with listening to excuses about the pitch. If it was so bad, why did Blackpool not struggle? We are able to mix it up in boggy pitches, but unfortunately it seems that we can only mix it up when Lambert is in the team - without him we just hit pointless long balls which aren't being controlled, held up or moved on. We needed to stretch the game yesterday so we could get in behind them and so we could combat their width, but we didn't. We stuck to a diamond and long balls without Lambert, which is game over pretty much.

The guy looks so fragile confidence wise. He's failed at a 'big' club before and I bet you that is on his mind. He seems to thrive being the big fish in the small pond, but struggles in setups such as ours and Sheff Utd where he's part of a good squad. I want him to do well for us, I really do, but he doesn't seem to have that quality and agility I thought he had. He doesn't help us as he slows us down, not sure if that's fitness or that's just how he is - if that's how he is then he's going to be no good for us as a long-term striker.

Why do we always have to find out via some third party? If he's injured that bad I'd appreciate our club coming and saying so, rather than keeping it all pointless under wraps. There is time for that, and there's time when you need to tell your supporters what's going on... -
Ah yes, Reading play on friday night. Interesting.

Why has the "Lambert out for the season" thread been closed ?

You mean there would have been more for you to wet your knickers about? -
Strange post. It's not the perfect result at all, and Sharp didn't play well at all.

It's what keeps him going. -
We didn't play with our usual energy, not sure why. We looked sluggish and never got to grips with it, we also didn't seem to know what to do when we had the ball in the final 3rd. Seemingly there was no game plan without Lambert.
-
His defending for the 2nd wasn't too shabby either....he had a stinker.

S-Clarke replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Because the club have officially confirmed that he's not out for the season, he didn't have an operation and that he was just rested for today. That's why the thread was closed. -
Lot of excuses in there tbh......we didn't deserve a thing and we didn't lose because we were hard done by or because the pitch was ****, we lost because we had an inept day where we all forgot how to play football.
-
We're still top you idiot. We haven't lost the title, stop over reacting like you always do. We have reading at home to sort that out. Believe.
-
Glad someone noticed Guly, I thought he put in a decent shift amongst the ****. Butterfield and Chaplow looked like sunday league players.
-
Inept, but let's forget about it and move on. Hopefully the players do to, because dwelling on that performance will kill us. It was the worst i've seen us play in a long time, so suprised by that display. Didn't expect that at all. If teams press us and lambert isn't in the team we struggle big time as we have no out ball. Let's hope he's back asap.
-
We won't though, so Don't worry. The players need to forget this one, and so do we after we spend a few hours going over it. 1 bad result does not make a season
-
We'll be fine, but losing like that is an utter ****ter.
-
There wasn't a single good performance out there. Sharp looked awful and no worth the money we paid for him, the defence were all over the shop, the midfield were no where to be seen when it mattered and the width wasn't there - Lallana was awful. Chappers will probably not play again this season after that first half, he didn't look like a footballer. De Ridder came on and again, made no impact at all. Worst display of the season by a mile, clueless in so many positions. Luckily we'll still probably go up because we've done so well bar thsi result - but we need to forget this quickly, because if we play like that regularly we will finish 3rd - but I still think we'll be fine.

Remember Millwall.....?
