Doesn't always work like that though Hypo. We already have a strong squad that should get us promoted, signing more and more players doesn't always guarantee success either. We don't need to spend big bucks until we're in the championship. There really isn't much wrong with this squad, those who were at Oldham and at St Mary's on Saturday can vouch for that.

We have 2 players for each position Nick, and some of those players are versatile and can cover other positions. It's the perfect squad really. I hate massive squads with bloated reserve teams as it stops the younguns coming through.

On another note - Sheff. Wednesday failed in their attempts to sign Lee Cook from QPR - he rejected them at the last minute.

you've forgotten that we also signed Guly and Chaplow, don't just take them for granted because they were already here on loan. Both significant signings for us.

Totally agree Saint Charlie. Can't find anything to complain about, I didn't think we really needed to sign anyone but we needed to keep who we already have (i.e - chappers/guly/lallana/oxo) good times.

Just watched his interview on Saints player, seems a chirpy character and pleased to be here. Describes his pace as his best attribute.... I don't think he's been signed in time for tomorrows game though, but i may be wrong.
