i know it's not easy to judge a performance miles away - but it sounds like our problem today has been the midfield, they have not controlled the game or supplied anything for lambert or Lallana - that's why we've just been on the backfoot.

without gerrard/torres - they are on par with the fulhams/sunderlands of the league. Rafa has filled that squad with so much average **** it's untrue.

James has played right wing before this season and has done pretty well, davis played in the last game against Luton Rickie and Lallana have played together this season before and have actually done quite well.
