oh yeah - forgot about that. Guess we'll have to wait until the middle of next week to find out.
-
well you were right about the first one.. wasn't your 2n'd bit of info regarding us getting Matty Fraytt? that would be amazing.
-
it doesn't seem to have been as ''strong'' as the stock and fonte links. you never know though.

http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=184&fid=96&sty=2&act=1&mid=2123320111 that's all i could find. Started by a saints fan (bit of a stupid tone by him as well tbf), but none of them believe it - they say he's too good for L1. but one of them does say his wife moved south the other month and his family live in the city..

Cortese has come in and has set standards, every single part of this ''business'' now needs to be run 100%, if there is any slacking that's where you'll see people being fired. I know that there aren't many pre-administration staff left at the club, alot of them have been let go over the months. It's been such a massive restructure (which is still on going). Cortese is a man who knows what he wants and he knows how to get it, he hasn't been this successful and hasn't gained such a good reputation in world-wide banking for being a pillock. I always felt that being ruthless was the key with saints, the last thing we needed were a bunch of people coming in and approaching the situation in a ''softly, softly'' way, with little change. Unfortunately you can't afford to have too much sentiment in this world. I personally know people who have lost their jobs at St Mary's in the past few months - it is a shame for them, but you often find this approach in big business restructures. The way Wotte was removed confirmed to me how they were going to play this game.

Leeds 1 - 1 Wycombe the title is still ours
-
completely echoed. Couldn't be happier.
-
must be, he's been frozen out at Cov for almost 12 months - not a bad player, but as Pards said...sometimes they need a change. pretty sure it must be him.
-
we won't be far off by the end of the month though...
-
who's mccormack?
-
they're taking the players to train in spain
-
15mins, he's on the M27 and cannot pull over atm
-
they can't get hold of pards..... prob trying to tie up the other deals
-
Ward hasn't been included in the Cov. squad today. He's been included on the bench most of the season...
-
if i was a pompey fan, other than stinking of fish, I'd be fearing the worst after hearing that.
-
''We're not going to have a fire sale'' ''every player has their price'' ''we don't need to sell any players'' ''i think it's inevitable some players will leave, we have a big squad'' ok, what do you believe....spin of the highest order.
-
lol @ this guy, brilliant
-
but then, what do we do with brian stock (if/when he comes)??? great problem for pards to have
-
yeah - well according to the palace forums. I was reading through their match reports/motm reports etc - he features in them a fair bit and he always seems to be on the right hand side. He's scored a few goals this year too.
-
he's been playing on the right for Palace this season.
-
saw that on TUI the other day, wasn't sure if to believe it or not though.
-
Well the majority of palace fans seem to think he could hack it in the premiership, they're probably better placed than most of us to judge his ability. They're even saying he's in their top 3 ''best ever'' centre backs.. he's not just an average championship player.
-
Fonte has played 2 seasons regular in the chamionship and has been one of the top players at that level - Zak has been good at L1 level (never played in the champ) but very injury prone. I think (from what all the palace fans are saying) that Fonte is a very cultured centre half, he started his career as a striker/attacker - so has very nice ability on the ball and can set attacks going from the back.
-
oh yeh def, he also said he was ''very happy with the contract''
