I saw the incident on the TV last night - quite obviously Trotman was trying to move his arm away from the ball, and that picture proves that.

Don't worry, they will judge. ML is totally in the wrong too apparently, as he appointed a banker to run the club and has not spent enough money. time for them all to go and start again, the 5 year plan is obviously not working.
-
Thats the problem though. They're quick enough to moan and tell us the world is ending, but there is never a constructive reasoned post as to why - and what can be done to improve it. just nee-jerking tbh.

We'd have all loved to have got off to a better start, but it can't get away from the fact that the club was stripped to a shell over the summer (and the past year) and it's going to take time to put a structure back in place. Look at the state of our scouting system for e.g. - Pard's has gone straight out and sorted it, i don't think another club in L1 has such an extensive scouting system as us. (exclusive to us too). It'll take a few weeks before we see how that is bearing fruit. I can just see from where im sitting that the foundations are being laid, the guys running the show are efficient and pro-active. They want success as much as all of us but i hope they also realise that it's going to take longer than a couple of months to sort this shambles of a football club out.

Looks good, don't think we'll be seeing Murty for a while though. Wonder what will happen with this supposed Gradel interest? He'd be perfect - can play either side too. Eastwood wouldn't be too shabby either...nor would Craddock. Tuesday will be an interesting day...

Charlton had a pre-season and have a momentum. We weren't in a position to just kick into the season and start winning unfortunately. Charlton kept their manager, almost the entire squad and have carried on the good momentum they had at the end of last season. On form for the last 15 games last year, Charlton i believe finished 11th and we finsihed 22nd - i think that tells you all you need to know. I know it's frustrating when we see teams up there winning and winning but i just wish we could show some patience, it's obvious that we're 'trying' to move in the right direction (in all areas of the club) but it isn't going to happen over night. I fully expect us to bring in a couple of players by the deadline and once we get our first win and get to -4, things will start to look a little better. - not great...but better.

You don't have a ****ing clue do you? No offense, but seriously, are you being for real? 2.9 million on players? WRONG - since we have been owned by ML we have got in 300K for players (Rasiak) If you think we have the money from the sales of Surman/Mcgoldrick etc then you are utterly clueless - that went towards the administrators and paying the wages. Heck - even some of the fee from the Dyer transfer was held by the FL so we paid Notts county some installments we had due. I'm not sure what some fans want...? There is alot of frustration surrounding today's result and our start - and i can understand why, i expected a little bit better if im honest. But to see this ridiculous moaning and complaining of our new owners and manager, when they haven't been here 2 months is nothing short of ridiculous. When you fully understand the situation and have facts to back up your idiotic statements then you can post, but in the meantime - shut up.

He was ****ing ****ed off today. - he sounded passionate and very montivated to get us out of this situation. I still don't believe that there was a better option for manager in the situation we are in. - i'm right behind him. It's just refreshing after the tosh from last year after we lost 5-0 away or whatever ''the boysh did well''
-
I agree with the fact that we shouldn't be aiming for survival - we're better than that, and the signing of Lambert suggests the ambition of the board/management to be slightly better than that also. Today is ****ing frustrating, make no doubt about it, i expected us to be much nearer, if not on 0 points by now - so this is a horrific start to an already horrific situation. I'm still confident that once we get that 1 win...they will start rolling in. At least today we aren't in the position of saying ''Stockport outplayed us..'' etc - we sounded like a cut above them and in all honesty we should have scored that 2nd. Frustrating yes - but even after this horrific start, we should still be aiming as a club and as fans, higher than ''survival''.
-
That is complete and utter tosh spoken by someone who is nee-jerking without any real idea of what's going on behind the scenes. Oh wise one, who should we have appointed as a chairman? It's all so easy this running a football club malarky isn't it. Please come back when you have a clue.

If we're not in positive points by October then i fear for us. As you said, Sept. is a huge month. Will shape our season one way or another.
-
+1 and the pressure of being on minus points, still looking for a win, just gets heavier. I'm not sure if the likes of Lallana can cope with that. We need to get a win, somehow. Colchester won't be easy though, neither will Charlton away.
-
Harvey out!
-
We needed to win today though really, and we should have. One of the ''easier'' away games this season. Charlton is the next one...it's not going to get easier for us, the longer it takes us to get this win the heavier the pressure becomes.
-
Don't believe it. Should have been game over with the 2 chances that hit the post. Stockport sounded utter ****e, apart from their endeavor and effort We did have the chances, but they shouldn't have threatened us as much as they did in the final few mins. This has made pardews task of bringing players here even harder. -7 points...
-
Trotman handball dubious though tbf he had a great game up untill then
-
nope it s 1-1 we drew long season ahead
