I don't think sky can make their mind up. on their review they've just said ''....has completed his takeover of southampton football club and confirmed that Mark Wotte will stay on as manager''. we'll wait and see i guess, lots more to unravel over the next month.

This is how a takeover should be done. Release the plans and the statement AFTER it's done - don't post daily updates on non-events. Sounds like a top bloke - can only be optimistic for a terrific future.

No he hasn't. One of the first things Wotte did when he took over from Jan was bring the old heads back into the side.....

I don't think Harris is part of the bid? he's just advising the group. As reported, if they are prepared to report the swiss takeover to FL and inflict more greif on this club, then i think that answers all you need to know about their 'group'

Fry wouldn't be doing his job if he was not talking to potential investors, whilst the swiss are not 100% tied up yet. If this goes tits up and he's told all the other bidders to go home, what do we have left...?

i don't think we can really say it's all ****ed up - we are not sat in fry's office are we? there are so many contracts, so many third parties involved - please stop thinking it's as simple as 1 bit of paper - ''please sign here'' it's not - it's a huge process that will always be subject to delays and last minute hitches. The feeling this time though is that the swiss are the real thing - they're doing this the correct way and if we have to wait a bit longer, then so bloody be it.

Sheerer isn't actually contracted at Newcastle at the moment. The pre-season training and player movements are being decided by Colin Calderwood and Chris Hughton Sheerer may go back when they get bought out.

Because it's a great club with great potential. you're not going to get a better bargain in English football at the moment.

They stumped up the 500k before the Swiss - a bloody shame though, what a waste of time that was. If they've still been hanging around in the background all this time i think it shows how utterly committed they are to getting us - not just your flash in the pan attempt. really positive feeling about this...
