  1. Didn't realise Fran Alonso had left and followed Koeman, I may be wrong but I think he was one of the sources the ITK's used.
  2. The saying ''Be careful what you wish for'' springs to mind.

  4. Do people never learn? You cannot snapshot results like this. We didn't beat Villa at home last year, so does that mean we should have finished bottom half? We lost away to Norwich, we drew away at Newcastle. So, by that reckoning we should have been at best 16th.
  5. I did in his head though. In his mind he was there last night, but we all know he wasn't.
  6. Nothing to do with the truth, just incredibly annoying seeing an obvious WUM/Troll spouting **** and stopping any serious discussions taking place.
  7. When are the mods going to do something about this total moron?
  8. Hang on a sec, a lot of the argument last year was having Pelle and Long in the same team and how it didn't work. So, now it did?
  9. What on holy **** has Sky Sports done with this friday night stuff.
  10. Almost time for your medication.
  11. Davis was awful today, but harsh on Long. Not sure he's quite come to terms with the setup yet and he's a bit rusty, but he's been a good player for us and will continue to be a great outlet for us in terms of pace.
  12. People compare results like this every year, it means nothing.
  13. It wasn't really bad to be honest, although Zlatan and Pogba were head and shoulders above anyone, but that was to be expected - those two will change Man Utd. We played ok though, we were always in the game but we struggled to really force a way through in the final third. We have the players to score goals though and that will happen, there's a lot to take out of that performance but there will be the very small miniority of 0.1% of the fanbase who use this as the stick they've wanted to beat the club with for 2 seasons. The one thing I will say about this formation is that it relies so heavily on the quality of the full backs (or wing backs in effect) but it didn't happen today, I thought both were poor and Davis was equally as poor in the middle. Redmond looked to make things happen, Tadic tired...but when he's given time on the ball he can be a magician in the number 10 role. Pierre is incredibly good and he should be a shining example to all the morons who say we don't replace with quality. There are a lot of teams in a worse state than us, we're alright and let's just wait till the end of the window as we could do with a little more x factor in the final third.
  14. Can see why we signed Pied, and Bertrand will be massive for us and will thrive in this setup.
  15. The fact SaintRobbie and Alpine share the same views fills me with a very odd sense of optimism for the season ahead. Lots of utter trash posted on this thread. Very even game, neither side really taking it to each other. We've looked threatening though, got into some dangerous positions - that role for Tadic suits him down to the ground in my opinion, and as expected, Pierre has been amazingly good. What happens to Cedric when he plays a PL game though? His ball retention is non-existent. We need a hell of a lot more from our full backs though.
  16. 0.000001/10
  17. Sportsmania is worth all the effort. Amazon fire stick, Kodi, Sportsmania, you wouldn't know I haven't got sky.
  18. 0.0001/10
  19. Shhhhhhhhh
  20. What are sky playing at with this coverage by the way, they're usually spot on with their football stuff, but they're trying to act like your laid back mate at the pub on a Friday night after work. It's weird. Feels a little forced because of that. But good team to, I think the two changes most of us would have made. I'm interested to see Pierre for a full game, I think he's a star player.
  21. Geoff Shreves.
  22. Meltdown at Sunderland then, their two first choice CB's on their way out.
  23. It's almost time for your medication.
  24. Fiesta ST's are a little pocket rocket, really nice cars. The Focus ST has more muscle though for sure. I've got a Stealth ST3 (65 plate), it's a stunning car to drive - great fun, especially when you put your foot down in third gear and watch the turbo gauge go up. Assuming as you're after an ST, you're not really looking for mileage economy...! The best I've got mine to run at is 32mpg, but it averages around 28 I'd say. If you go for a Focus ST3 you get the full Recaro package for the two front seats, they're the best seats I've ever had in a car - very snug, but they're meant to be like that when you do the corners at 50mph..! But yeah, if you can afford the lease I'd go for a Focus ST. My lease on mine is up in a few years, will be interesting to see what prices the RS is at then...
  25. I think people put too much thought into how player x performed at his previous club, some people seem to assume that's the maximum the player can achieve and he's therefore a downgrade on the player we sold. But when we got Mane, was he seen as a Lallana replacement at the time? I think not, in fact I seem to remember all sorts of crap being spouted such as ''non league trash'' ''sell him straight away'' etc etc. People are underestimating how much our club improves players, if the raw tools are there then we seem pretty good at molding a damn fine player out of it - which is what I see with Redmond. So whilst on paper people see it as a downgrade as he's not as good as Mane, then in a year or so time you'll be wondering what you were worried about. For what it's worth, there is no way we can afford to sign a finished product at the same level as Mane - we will develop another one again to a similar, or even higher level.
