I wonder how long it will be until VVD realises that this has made no difference? And then we'll get the ''Someone hacked my account, it wasn't me who posted that! LOL!'' fullback comments.

The rumour is that was the case - and this is why this summer stance is so strong, as a club we're f***ed off with Liverpool as they're doing it every year - we've seemingly said enough is enough, but they've already caused the damage. I know clubs tap up players, it happens - but Liverpool take it to another level, they always have done. It's no coincidence that they've been slapped for this twice before.

We should have taken away all of our facilities and let him recuperate in a local gym out of his own pocket then. I don't think we're alone in how we're thinking here, quick browse on Utd forums and they're all on our side in the sense of calling him a spoiled brat, ****** etc. I'll say again. Ambition. Liverpool. Ambition my arse. You could have had your pick Virgil, but I reckon this is a huge OG on his career. We all saw what happend with Sadio at WBA, started crying like a baby, WBA stood firm - fair play to them, and he wasted 2 years of his career. He then ended up moving to Stoke, still for a decent fee...but he still hasn't scored a goal for them, so on the back of his hissy fit...he ruined his career. He needs to hope that Chelsea or City are prepared to offer what we want for him, otherwise he's cut his nose off here. I'm so ****ed off with this saga now, why he doesn't just knuckle down is beyond me.

That's an incredible statement really. He's obviously now desperate and after seeking all avenues to get out of here and not having any luck, has decided to go down this route, and is seemingly trying to drag the clubs name through the mud in an effort to make us budge. I don't understand the complete lack of respect he's shown us, in fact I'm pretty gobsmacked. He's worse than any of the previous 'defecting' lot we've had. We took a gamble on him when no one else wanted to, we put him on the stage and then rewarded him a year ago (yep, just a year ago...) with 6 years additional security and what was - i'm sure - a very, very healthy salary, associated signing on fee's and of course the club captaincy. If he was this ambitious and this keen to move to a top club, you have to question why on earth he signed a 6 year contract really. See, I'd take the ambitious part seriously if it was Barca, Real, Bayern, PSG we were talking about - but it's Liverpool. They're a yesterday team, you're not guaranteed top European football with them every year. This is the most blatant result of tapping up you'll ever see and it's why rules and sanctions are in place - they're there to protect the clubs and remove the prospect of unsettling. Well, they've not done anything in this instance. This has made me even more adamant that we should drag Liverpool through the mud here, send every bit of evidence we have to the PL and let them deal with this self pittying sess-pit of a city. And going by that statement, he's already a Liverpudlian with his victim stance. Shambles.

The 2017-18 Pundits pre-season League Prediction Thread

Lazy for a change, little dig at Liverpool signing Bedranek in the future. Not old at all. -
It's not like Larry to make it up to suit his agenda.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2724349-liverpool-reportedly-overrule-jurgen-klopp-agree-to-philippe-coutinho-transfer This is the report I think. Trouble in paradise...

Bit odd. Cedric is and should be the first name at right back whilst he is here.

It is quite funny to see their fans suffering in the same way with all these rumours. It must make them worry a little. Usually when Barca or Real want something bad, they get it - even more so when they have a £200m windfall to play with. Karma and all that.

To troll all the impatient supporters.

Same. What the hell is going on. I feel dirty.

http://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/juventus-visite-mediche-in-corso-con-il-southampton-per-lemina-i-dettagli Medical examinations in progress with Southampton for Mario Lemina after leaving for Italy in the summer of 2015, leaves Juventus. The father will also come from Gabon during the day and tomorrow is scheduled to be defective. Confirmed the figures: the Bianconeri will go 18 million plus 2 of the bonus.

He was in and around at the Austria camp, he was on the bench and I'm sure played 45 in the friendly over there. Since then though he's just vanished, no training shots, no bench appearances. Obviously picked up another injury, club are seemingly trying to keep it quiet for some reason.

*cough* getting the replacements in for Coutinho early...

I thought there was something a bit odd with that Darren fella's first post, bit odd. We had a similar influx of Everton fans last summer too. Weird city.
-
That would be a signing just for the sake of making a signing.

I thought Lemina was gash?
-
Therefore he's 'Pretty Gash', yes?

Where is all this talk of Hoedt coming from? Can only see him coming if we shift VVD, which we won't. And even then, there aren't any strong links to Hoedt what so ever.
-
Monaco want Imbula, who would then become available should Stoke get this kid.
-
Good info, cheers. Interesting you mentioned Stararo, as he was heavily linked to us last year for a similar sort of fee - same with the Assamoah guy you have. Seems like you have a few midfielders who interest us!
-
Have seen it dotted around in a few places. WHU fans seem to think that Ogbonna and Reid are the first choice this year. Club are apparently trying to find a CB, hence the rumours of Fonte's demise.
-
West Ham looking to dump both Fonte and Snodgrass, but finding it hard to find 'takers' due to their high wages. ''Apparently''.

BREAKING NEWS Southampton have agreed a deal to sign Mario Lemina from Juventus, according to Sky sources. He’s expected to undertake a medical on Monday and will cost the club £16million, plus add-ons which could rise to £20m. Juve manager Allegri confirmed today in his post-match press conference player will leave. We understand Southampton beat off interest from Stoke to sign the player.
