  1. No they aren't.
  2. This is when he confirms that he's actually landed in Liverpool.
  3. Barca have now lost Suarez for around 6 weeks with an injury, they are in a right old mess. If this doesn't speed up any transfers then I'll be shocked.....time for Liverpool to say cheerio to Coutinho.
  4. I think the main worry for Everton is how they're going to replace Lukaku's goals. They've not really bought what I'd class as a 'top class striker' - so you get the feeling that they're going for the 'sharing goals around the team' approach, with the likes of Klassen and Siggy, Rooney. If I was an everton fan, which thankfully I'm not, then I'd be a little nervous in terms of lacking a goal scorer.
  5. Sigurdsson is about 26, so right in his prime. Pretty sure Klassen is of a similar age too? Pickford and Keane are both young english players, Sandro is a young Spanish striker that Belgium guy they bought (henry whatshisname) is only about 19/20. Cuco Martina and Wayne Rooney are the only over 30's they've bought. Their transfers have been pretty young in the main, if you look at Lookman and Calvart-Lewin from last season as well.
  6. Southampton are in advanced talks to sign Lazio defender Wesley Hoedt, according to Sky sources. Sky in Italy have reported that the club have made a £15.5million offer for the centre-back but the deal is not yet agreed.
  7. I must say, Barca are acting like a bunch of dicks to be honest - but it is funny, as it's a taste of their own medicine. Barca's general manager has come out and said that they're 'close' to both Dembele and Coutinho. Cue meltdown. Still, a pretty back handed way for a club like Barca to act. I think they're in a bit of a mess right now, just been done 6-1 by Real Madrid and they have a Neymar sized hole to fill. Could just be chat to appease the fans, who knows.
  8. 1st post. But thanks for the info..!
  9. Southampton are also firmly in favour of closing the transfer window before future Premier League seasons kick off, according to chairman Ralph Krueger. "I think that it's the system we need to look at, so we're a huge proponent of closing the transfer window before the season starts," Krueger said "We're a huge proponent of looking at why these kind of situations even evolve."
  10. Hoedt and Vietto IMO. (later being a loan with an option on deadline day)
  11. Didn't take long for the thread on RAWK to be reopened. They believe this interview has made his exit more likely. Talk about clutching at straws. Give it up guys.
  12. Morgan didn't train with the team most of the pre-season in which he lost his head, then he was straight in on the first day. If he accepts it, he'll be back for Huddersfield.
  13. And in this window of craziness, what we paid for Lemina also seems an incredible steal. We still do it the right way.....
  14. Yeah, it has. They still think he's signing for them though. What a bunch of saps.
  15. They are the figures I saw quoted when Everton were sniffing earlier in the window, would doubt if it's gone down since then...! He signed a new deal recently.

    Injury Watch

That's a shame. Can't really see any way back for him as a professional to be honest.
  17. TBF, he would be upwards of £35m apparently.
  18. September 1. Judgement day. sounds like a trailer to blockbuster
  19. Rumors still floating around regarding Luciano Vietto. I reckon we'll see him before the window closes.
  20. That is such a typical Tony Pulis signing.
  21. I just find the level of detail he comes out with a little too much to believe. He knows bits, I'm sure, but he seems to be polishing the edges to make it seem even more. Just a hunch I have, nothing more. Not on a crusade against the bloke, have just always been a tad suspicious over anyone who claims to be ITK and shares that level of detail.
  22. More fool you for taking the words of a poster as gospel. For what it's worth, I'm very skeptical about that poster in particular.
  23. Whilst I get the point, all you are really doing here is moving the 'issue' further down the league pyramid. So you'll end up with NPC, L1, L2 clubs having their players unsettled mid-season by top level clubs. Not sure there's an easy solution to it at all, closing it before the season starts is a good idea in principle, but it will be fraught with issues due to all the other leagues around the world starting at different dates. The fix here is a wage and spending cap. Players get unsettled because they see the riches at another club, but if there is a league-wide wage cap, then that appetizer is reduced.
  24. Their sources have also claimed that £210m has been pumped into the club, which isn't the case. They're just rehashing what the telegraph article has said, but wording it badly and putting their 'claim' to it.
