I think the main worry for Everton is how they're going to replace Lukaku's goals. They've not really bought what I'd class as a 'top class striker' - so you get the feeling that they're going for the 'sharing goals around the team' approach, with the likes of Klassen and Siggy, Rooney. If I was an everton fan, which thankfully I'm not, then I'd be a little nervous in terms of lacking a goal scorer.

Sigurdsson is about 26, so right in his prime. Pretty sure Klassen is of a similar age too? Pickford and Keane are both young english players, Sandro is a young Spanish striker that Belgium guy they bought (henry whatshisname) is only about 19/20. Cuco Martina and Wayne Rooney are the only over 30's they've bought. Their transfers have been pretty young in the main, if you look at Lookman and Calvart-Lewin from last season as well.

I just find the level of detail he comes out with a little too much to believe. He knows bits, I'm sure, but he seems to be polishing the edges to make it seem even more. Whilst I get the point, all you are really doing here is moving the 'issue' further down the league pyramid. So you'll end up with NPC, L1, L2 clubs having their players unsettled mid-season by top level clubs. Not sure there's an easy solution to it at all, closing it before the season starts is a good idea in principle, but it will be fraught with issues due to all the other leagues around the world starting at different dates. The fix here is a wage and spending cap. Players get unsettled because they see the riches at another club, but if there is a league-wide wage cap, then that appetizer is reduced.

Their sources have also claimed that £210m has been pumped into the club, which isn't the case. They're just rehashing what the telegraph article has said, but wording it badly and putting their 'claim' to it.
