He's out for a good year though, he'll probably sign one when he's back fit.

It's hard for us to really make a judgement on lander, there's little information on it from our side - i.e what kat's intentions are, and all we can see is stuff that is out in the open - i.e their history, bribing, backhanding etc. So I think it's hard to be completely against this, or completely for it. Need to know exactly how this will benefit us, and I still don't believe KL is out to ship us off to some crooks who will dump us up a river. This club is part of her fathers legacy, the training ground building is even named after him.....so I can't see how she'd want us to be dragged down and sold to some crooks. This is why I think there's more that KL and co know which we don't, and if we did, we'd possibly be a lot more content.

Puel Sacked? - As Reported by Crook of Sh*t
S-Clarke replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Still very reluctant to get myself excited by the thought of Tuchel, not seen enough concrete 'sources' to suggest this is even a goer...but let's see. and plus, we still actually have a manager..! -
No idea, no detail in yet. Just a breaking strap from sky news. Probably something about making it easier for the big clubs to carry on spending and getting bought by whoever.
-
game over I think...!
-
They set the bar themselves by splurging £50-55m on Stones.
-
Sorry City, let's give him to you for what you want to pay. That's how it works. Being painted as we're the ones in the wrong asking for so much money. Well, perhaps, we actually don't want to sell him? So bog off.

It's a shame really, but we all know it goes on. I'm sure a lot of clubs at our level are applauding our stance. Let's be honest, there aren't many clubs 'at our level' who could potentially jeopardize receiving £60m for a player....but the contract we gave him last year has given us such a strong hand. We can plant our feet on this one and drag their name through the mud. Would love to know what Virgil is thinking....doesn't strike me as the sort who would kick up a fuss, if i was him I'd be pretty miffed with Liverpool for doing it the wrong way.

Absolutely it happens all the time, no one is denying that. Probably not as obvious as Liverpool have done though. But other clubs are savvy. Liverpool decided to parade it from the rooftops before they'd even spoken to us via a series of directed media briefings. You can see on twitter that all of the LFC connected journos reported it at EXACTLY the same time at 5pm. It's amateur hour from Liverpool and their PR team. They've got history for this. I'm sure we know more about what's gone on in the past with Lallana, Lovren, Mane etc - they were clearly 'spoken to' before they decided to spit their dummies out. I think we've just said, enough's enough. We hold all the aces this summer with a player with 5 years left, we don't need to sell for any reason at all. His value isn't going to drop and he's not going to walk away on a free. This was the perfect time to show Liverpool up for being the absolute ****ish force they are in the transfer market. Bravo Saints.

This is all part of the long game apparently. Obviously Liverpool have done no wrong. They are always the Victims. woe be liverpool.

Anything that comes out of Craig Burleys mouth can be considered Junk.
-
Stoke probably, seeing as they've already got Liverpool done for tapping up one of their youth players. Liverpool have a 2 year ban on signing youth players already.

Apparently we're intent on pushing forward with the complaint, and we have other PL clubs support. Interesting.
-
Says it all doesn't it...
-
Maybe this isn't over yet then.
-
Just found the evidence we have. We have them over a barrel really.
-
-
Probably the latter. We all know that they wouldn't want to punish one of their favorites. Golden child of the league and all that. ''The Premier League subsequently confirmed it was looking into the matter, but Sky sources understand that, as far as the league is concerned, the apology is the end of the matter and they are unlikely to take any further action.''
-
PL have apparently come out and said that this apology is the end of the matter as far as they're concerned.
-
If you have a look at the link above, it seems as if this has played out exactly as the Demspey 'move' did. We agreed to withdraw our complaint to PL as long as they ended interest and put a grovelling apology on their official channels. That's my take on it anyway.
-
They have history by the way: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/fulham/9739320/Liverpools-embarrassing-apology-to-Fulham-sees-Clint-Dempsey-tapping-up-complaint-dropped.html

That's quite funny really. A blatant admission of their guilt for a start. They probably admitted guilt to try and avoid further punishment and sanctions. There is no way he's going to end up there now.

Fair post by the admin guy.
