Didn't help himself with all his confrontations, but you have to wonder what anyone new will be able to do at this stage? Should have done it a few weeks ago.

Lol, someone saying their main gripe over JWP is his set-pieces. What do some of our fans watch every weekend.
-
Lol. Please stop.

Post-Match Reaction: Queens Park Rangers 0-1 SAINTS
S-Clarke replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Scan was clear, he hasn't broken his foot. -
Man Utd Chelsea Liverpool Tottenham Arsenal in the next 8....! (and they also have ourselves and Everton away as well) If they don't win this, I think it's safe to confirm one of the relegation places.

Perhaps Jay Rodrigeuz for Harry Kane might have been a good swop.

He's been pretty lucky, cause you're right, Kane was being flogged around in the summer - along with Townsend,Mason Chadli - yet they have all turned out to be pretty important for them this season. He's bloody lucky with Kane, that's for sure - as i'm certain he was not on his radar when he first came in. (well he wasn't, as he didn't play him) -

Deserved for sure. On top for a good 80% of that game and should have been a goal up before that, as the Mane offside (which he would have finished) wasn't offside and Fonte's shot that hit the bar was damn unlucky. But we stuck in there, kept going, never gave up - and bam. We just had that little bit of extra quality in Mane and he made the difference all afternoon. Still incredibly tight, but we simply will not go away.... -
Can't believe that reasoning, what does he take the world for? He's made himself look even more foolish! He should have just been honest and said....''I don't want a relegation on my CV, I've bought a load of crap in the summer which I can't get performing, but it's not my fault. I wanted to add in the window so we had a chance, but I couldn't. None of this is my fault what so ever, but I'll leave now just so I can avoid blame, even though none of this is my fault.''

Not sure what this really means on Saturday. They've been good at home this year, and even though he's jumped because he's a wimp, It will have probably taken the players by surprise. Will be interesting to see the reaction. They'll have lost a bit of focus on specifics for Saturday, I'm sure.

That's quite funny to be honest. He's thrown his toys well and truly out of the pram there as he didn't get what he wanted yesterday. It makes you wonder though, is he even a manager, or just a player transfer person? He just seems to live off of ''wheeling and dealing'' and doesn't actually do a great deal of, you know, football coaching stuff, what's actually paid to do. Low and behold as soon as he found out he couldn't add more expensive aging players to his squad he's upped and left. The reality is that they should already have enough. Vargas, Isla, Caulker, Green, Barton, Austin - that's not a bad side really. A little bit of management and he wouldn't have needed to ''wheel or deal''. That's probably his career over and done with.
-
Well played. Got that done, dusted. Will have been in a lot of demand, so pleased we executed this. Top player.
-
Really happy we got that Betrand deal over the line. Top player. One down.....

Sorting out the Bertrand deal apparently. -
Yeah they cancelled it, he didn't feature much for them. 3 apps I think. Reckon he'll be off to a lower league side soon.
-
What Pelle have you been watching?
-
If that's true, he sounds much more a number 10 type than a wide player, and it's EXACTLY what we need. Well played everyone involved.
-
There are different types of January transfer to be honest. The pure panic signings, who have barley been scouted but their availability has been shared....and the players who have been heavily tracked and monitored for a period of time and the club decides to make the move. I like to think we fall in the later!
-
Agreed. They probably will next year if we don't make it, to be honest. All 3 are CL quality players, easy. I think we've got a really good squad actually, despite what some say in terms of not having enough. Real CL quality through the spine and talent such as Mane and Elia who are full of life. Although you'd say we are short up top, i think we have options and alternatives should Pelle not be available. I think securing a number 10 type is more important. Lets get Elia/Mane/Tadic involved in the right areas.

MLG has been owned. Even I knew what that meant.
-
Yeah it's fair to think that, it's for sure an outside chance - but there's a very real chance it could happen, given the amount of games left and where we are. Those 2 games are exciting. Really looking forward to them.
-
Given that we're still 4th in February you'd have to say we have a chance, it's not really in the ''no chance, we really won't'' territory just yet.
-
It's been like that for a couple of seasons, I think it's just a case of this equipment (heart monitors I think) was purchased with loads of branding slapped over it. They obviously don't want to replace the expensive kit, so just cover up the branding. Fair enough. And why is Morgan in those pictures? Doesn't he realise he should be at Arsenal? He's not got long, especially with rush hour coming up.

A Juventus fan trolling on a Saints forum. I never thought I'd see the day.
