I can see why people are a little disappointed. We've got £90m in the bank, and a key position that needed filling is replaced by a short-term loan. Now, to be honest, I was told from day 1 that LB isn't a priority for the club - I didn't particularly agree with that, but maybe the club simply don't see it as important as us - and they wanted to make a signing which wouldn't slam the door shut in Targetts face. That's how I see it.

For what it's worth, Sky have been reporting that all day - when it's actually false. Club, and people near to Morgan have denied it. But Sky Sources win, I guess. Who are Sky Sources?

There's a big thread on him on their forums, some thought he was ok but the majority thought he was average and didn't really want him back.

Would imagine it's because we wouldn't pay what Sporting wanted for Rojo, so opted for a quick loan fix.

He's alright, nothing special though. Villa fans didn't want him anywhere near their team again, which rings a few alarm bells!! I imagine this is the sort of signing which doesn't block Targett, and gives him a bit of competition. But with £90m in the bank, I'd have hoped for a little reinvestment into the LB area from the shaw sale.....but let's see how it works.
