Hypo, can I ask honestly - what is it you want from Southampton? I remember you being the vocal one on all the anti-cortese threads, but now he's gone, you still seem to be incredibly vocal on anything to do with the board. We lead an unsustainable life under Cortese, no matter how anyone tries to spin it. He was criticised for losing contacts/losing signings. I'll give you that the new guys aren't exactly digging up any tree's right now, but I'm fairly sure that things will look much better come September in terms of squad. This stage of the transfer window is nutritiously always one of the quietest periods. I'm not buying the fact that all we'll be doing is exclusively targeting loans, there will be some big signings in and amongst our additions - of that I'm sure, we just have to show a little bit of patience. There's no point in criticising a lack of signings as yet, as there's still time. If come the 1st September, all we have are a couple of loanies and that Socetto bloke (sp) playing regularly, then everyone can meltdown as much as they want.

Tadier + Clasie,and it's goodbye to Cork and Morgan IMO. But Clasie is a class act of a player, slightly nervous about his 'slightness' though.

To be fair, he was going to miss one eventually. I was getting more nervous every time he stepped up for us (no idea why!). But I'm glad he left us as never missing a penalty, let's hope we never scores a penalty to help those scouse ****s.

Schelotto has been farmed off on loan to low end Italian clubs/serie b clubs over the last few years. He's really not rated in Italy by anyone. As a squad filler, I guess he'll add something though. I don't think adding squad fillers is the way forward though, always buy better. This is a sure fire way to regress.

Not sure. We'd just signed Lovren and Wanyama, whilst on the verge of wrapping up a deal for Osvaldo. I think most thought anything other than a Top 10 would be utter failure.

He's just a 25 year old Italian journey man. Not entirely sure what we're up to here. Seems as if Inter have seen we've lost loads of players, and want to help us out by sending us their dross, basically. Loans have never been a thing we've done a great deal, but they can work - handy to be able to do it every now and then.....but potentially 4/5 loans in the same squad in the same transfer window? He was referring to the Lodge, where Bale/Theo etc grew up. So the media have got hold of that, pulled it apart and made it sound like the entire Academy will close!!1111111111one (You usually only close something down when it's failing!) #goitv
