  1. That was a top class cross from Tadic.
  2. Pelle and Tadic both dragged on a bit, and at the time people were moaning about how long it was taking us to sort that. Looking back now it seems as if it was sorted quickly, but the reality is that it was a fair few weeks of will he won't he.
  3. NickG, what are you on about here??? 2 first team, nailed on players. First names on the team sheet as it currently stands. Also, whoa re the 'most posters'' who don't want to see Fonte in the side? Why do people say stuff like this to make their point sound more dramatic, it's literately just 0.0000000001% of the fan base who has said they don't want Fonte in the side - probably Saint Richmond. At the end of the day, we've already lost too many important players - albeit for good fee's. We now cannot afford to lose other important players due to poor contract situations. We do actually need a team! And at the moment, Fonte and Cork are damn critical to us. There some things you can paint a positive outlook to, but your post is literately clinging onto the tiniest little bits of thread.
  4. Dean Ashton mk2
  5. Glad that it's coming from that twitter account. What rumours are those then?
  6. Shaw is such a dumb ****. Thick as 2 short planks.
  7. Such a pointless poster. All credibility, if he ever had any, went down the toilet when he started an argument with himself. He's a wum, nothing more than a poor WUM with multiple logins.
  8. So, basically he's been reading this forum and knows as much as us. Thought as much!
  9. ....nothing? Pretty much true to the point.
  10. He's a skate, already been outed. Not sure why he keeps on posting.
  11. Koeman on Schneiderlin: "He is not on his way out. He is still on holiday and will come back this weekend. There are only rumours about him. There are no bids for him and that is the situation."
  12. Feels like the Wanyama deal all over again.
  13. Dani Osvaldo has been sold to Liverpool for £35m.
  14. Could well do, but it may not. We'll have to wait and see. Can't see us getting anything at Liverpool either way, but reckon we have a decent chance of beating the Baggies at home in the 2nd game - even with the squad we have now. Gelling is quite often used as a myth and an excuse, i remember Burley using it a lot. If the players are good enough and the manager is good enough, he should be able to get results from them - or know a way to integrate them into a team.
  15. And a top striker. Giroud is alright, but nothing special. And their only other real backup to him is Sanogo, who is ****.
  16. Post of the year.
  17. I don't think he's been a regular for long enough yet, to command the sort of commitment and large fee. Give him a year and he'll go for £30m or so.
  18. At the end of the day, this is how I see it. - The club know we need players - we know we need players - we might not get them tomorrow, or next week, or the week after - but we will sign more players before the window shuts. - Patience is needed, but I think we'll get there in the end.
  19. Way too early to say either way. Norwich were tipped to finish above us last year as they had an amazing window, or something. Players don't always work out for whatever reason, on paper they are good additions - as are ours, but not all will be a success. Need to see who we bring in before going on a negative rampage about how they'll finish above us in 10 months time.
  20. Total change of attitude there, actually going out and signing proven talent - rather than just young players. Will push them right back into contention.
  21. He was linked with us a few weeks back wasn't he? Very versatile player, can operate in a number of positions - namely right sided though. Probably not really a position we need to focus on, but N'castle are doing some good business for sure.
  22. Saw that on goal earlier, I think he'd be a truly amazing addition - someone mentioned him a few weeks back when he was playing at the WC and I laughed it off, said he'd be well out of our remit - so if we do pull it off, fair play...and it would kind of show that we've not pulled back on any ambition, as he would be a massive upgrade on anything we have. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone as well, bank £50m for the sales of Shaw and Lovren, and spend £15m on this kid to replace both (With Matty as the backup/rotation option)......not bad business! Still plenty of change to spend on another CB too.
  23. You never start high though, go in at a respectable level (7.5m for Forster is pretty respectable) and negotiate there after.
  24. Would be too sound additions - happy with both of them. Redmond would be brilliant in a Koeman side IMO. Tadic one side, Redmond the other, Pelle up top - could be quite tasty.
  25. Not played because he had a severe virus which affected the nerve endings in his legs. Would stay well clear myself.
