Warnock is the new Palace manager.
-
If he shows signs of becoming anywhere near Buffons level, then he will not be here for any more than 18 months.
-
If people think it was unintentional, then they clearly are just in a negative mindset. It was clearly a clever bit of audacious skill, that could have left him on his arse (Like David Dunn all those years ago!).
-
You have to admire someone who keeps going, and going and putting themselves on the line. He could have easily sunk back into a shell, but from last night you can see he's a confident lad who believes in his own ability. And it was a pretty handy finish, if we're honest. Clean strike. I saw a lot more in that 2nd half that made me a hell of a lot more confident about him, ok it was Millwall, but he showed real desire which had since then been lacking.

I have a feeling it's a Les Reed call, and that he feels he's blocking Harry Reed's path. But that theory will be blown out of the water if we go and sign Clasie!
-
It would be an incredible sale that wouldn't make any sense. We were **** in that first half, brought him on and immediately we showed a lot more composure on the ball. Why get rid of a reliable, experienced premiership player in this summer of change? Especially when he's happy to be here. I just don't get it at all. No sense. It screams of Fitz Hall all over again to me. And if the club don't see Palace as a rival, then they need to wake up.

I think he's a definite upgrade. He looks like a very confident and solid goal keeper who will give the back 4 plenty of confidence. I certainly don't worry when the ball swings in the box as he has a real presence and seems to claim it 90% of the time. He reminds me of Joe Hart in many ways, I don't think he's too far away from him ability wise. Let's hope he keeps it up, I think he's one of the best keepers we've had in a long while. No disrespecting Boruc as he was brilliant for us, but prone to a lapse now and again. Forster seems more grounded and reliable in his early showings. It's the one area we have definitely upgraded in this summer of change.

Like LVG has just done. Man Utd were unlucky apparently, and the players did their best.
-
Pretty solid I thought, not much attacking input, but solid in a defensive sense - if not really tested a great deal.
-
Preoccupied with the Ice Bucket challenge.
-
LVG's post match interview, what the actual ****? He thinks they were unlucky and that you cannot read into the game as they had lots of kids and injuries, they did their best. They played Kagawa, Hernandez, Evans, De Gea, Welbeck, Jananzi............ He seems like a bit of a fool to me.
-
I thought he had a great 2nd half, stretching the game, getting in behind, causing the havoc in and around Pelle that opens the game up.
-
Cheers. That would imply something is pretty much done and dusted, and given that Toby is the only one with what seems to be real legs in the media at the moment, then it could well be him.
-
He's just a nutcase.
-
I was going to mention the same, lots of hugging with the players, a long and thoughtful hug/chat with Fonte at FT too. I'm hoping it was just the fact that he got his first goal! But I do believe he will go, with Clasie coming in. A bit of a dim wit move if it happens, to be honest. You don't sell PL experience in a pre-season season like we've had.
-
First half - never play like that again. 2nd half, more like it. Hopefully gives him the lift he so obviously needed.
-
I'm just flabbergasted at what is happening at Man Utd. It simply looks as if SAF just held that club together.
-
The first half was diabolical, utter dog ****e stuff. Reminded me of our **** days back in the bottom of the NPC. Can't recall anything of interest. 2nd half, we came out like we'd had a rocket shoved up our arses. Why didn't they start like that? More pace, more pressing, more intent to attack. We took the **** in the 2nd half and the gulf was so clear to see, whereas it wasn't in the first half. You've got to hand it to Pelle, kept missing (not sitters by any means) and kept coming back, again and again and again. He was always going to get one eventually as he kept getting in the area's and making himself available in the 2nd half, it was much better from him. Still lots to be done. I Just hope I never, ever, ever see us play like we did again in that first half. We'd get destroyed by PL teams if we did.

Can't say I've had a problem to be honest. I use Chrome as the browser here and it works fine. You get the odd little stop and start during the game, but nothing major what so ever. You don't get any pop ups or annoying ''download this to play'' rubbish. I hope I'm not raising the awareness which leads to it's close down!!!

They have so many channels to choose from, and every PL game is shown live somewhere...so chances are you'll get it. I've not missed an away game via it as yet...
-
Easily. It just works, every week. No need to download annoying software/plugins/popups. Just login, you get an embeded flash player and you just select the channel you want and it just works within the browser. I connect my laptop to my samsung TV and even the non-HD streams look pretty solid. I hope this stays kind of under-ground....as this has been an option for a year or so now!

He actually cost Dortmand £17m!
