  1. It's on his replies and tweets page, it's not a main tweet.
  2. To a point, possibly. But what's happening now is down the naivety of the board and they don't have a clue how to stop it.
  3. See, this is exactly what happens when you start selling players at this amount. There's no way to spin it. Agents, clubs and the players currently here will be looking and wondering WTF. Agents will sense a pay day and buying clubs will see an easy ride. The door is literately bolted wide open. The board are inept.
  4. This has come from Ben Smith as well by the way.
  5. Ben Smith has just confirmed that 1 premier league club hold a strong interest in Clyne. 8..?
  6. Kind of makes you laugh that all we've heard over the last 6 months is that we have an amazing scouting system, 20 odd recruitment experts working around the clock to ensure we work quickly. Only 2 signings we've made have been on Koemans recommendations and the other dutch signings will also be Koeman influenced. So that recruitment team have done a terrific job. To be fair, this is probably the same team who discovered Mayuka and Forren. Sack the lot of them.
  7. 0%, he's already gone.
  8. Not the sort of update I was hoping for. We're gone, aren't we?
  9. Totally. We seem quick enough to sort the outgoings, but the incomings don't seem any nearer. Haggling with Feyenord over a few mill for Pelle doesn't give me much confidence for the rest of the window, to be honest.
  10. Pretty pointless these days isn't it? When transfer fees are now regularly £70m+, it's quite a pointless existence for provincial clubs like us.
  11. We sold them all to Liverpool for £25m
  12. Clearly won't be £12m. If it was, every club in Europe would have bids on the table.
  13. To be fair, Jay has fully recovered from his knee injury and was on course to return within 6-8 weeks - well ahead of schedule. He's been working building his strength and muscle around his knee. The knee injury it's self has gone.....so it's not like they're signing a crocked player, they're signing a player who isn't fully fit as yet. I just hope we haven't agreed to let him go at a knock down price for this. Should be £20m and no less. I will miss Jay, regulars on here will know how much I wanted that signing to happen back in the day. Utter class act of a player who stepped up a level last year.
  14. To be fair, RK is in a bit of a non-fail position. If it goes tits up here and we do go down, the finger will be pointed at the sales and the situation he was put under. If he succeeds and does well, he will be seen as a miracle worker and Liverpool will probably sign him as their Reserve Manager or something.
  15. Jan is way too upbeat for me, a bit cringeworthy.
  16. Any news on anyone coming in will be greatly received. Although I'm sure the Fonte/Cork to leave story will be breaking first.
  17. Just shows how seemingly desperate we are to sell players.
  18. tbf, I think he's had enough of the board and the setup now.
  19. They probably need some help counting the money and putting it into containers for it to be shipped to Switzerland.
  20. The BBC Sport homepage is something out of a horror story. I've never felt this deflated.
  21. To be honest, the players that are still here are only here because no one else wants them, or is willing to pay a decent fee for them. That's the sad truth. If Sharp was any good, he'd have been gone as well.
  22. If we don't bring in signings of the level of De Vrij, Rojo, Forster, Classie - then we're gone.
  23. Ending a positive thread on the note of Billy Sharp still being here and being given a chance has made me even more fed up.
  24. £20m with a couple of players thrown in, but neither player will be of a level that should interest us.
