  1. Who were the 1st and 2nd out of interest? But he is utter class fwiw. Just needs to baulk up a little.
  2. We will, shortly.
  3. Cheers Guan. Hopefully this is the start of a good news trend.
  4. That video does test the emotions a bit! He's been involved in every good bit of this club for 5 years, the best period in my lifetime. He was more than just a striker....he kind of signified the entire era, the pin up boy of the journey. I guess it's now time for us to start another journey, but we'll do very well to find anyone who has anywhere near the same sort of impact as Lambo over 5 years.
  5. We better be careful or we'll have no team!
  6. Probably some sort of **** that he'll be training with better players. He's probably failed to realise that he's been training with Morgan, Lovren, Lallana, Wanyama, Rodriguez, Shaw all season. He's really peed me off with those crappy comments today. Just clear that we're used to develop young players for the big clubs.

    New Stadium

They've been slowly decommissioning that site for years, wouldn't read anything into it.
  8. Spurs have just sacked MP and are trying to snare Koeman from under our noses?
  9. Good old twitter. Got the feeling in my water that this is done.
  10. Or they could be working their arses off to get in an experienced manager, along with his coaching staff, and working out a transfer strategy..
  11. Would imagine he'd be off to a big club. Don't think we'd stand a sniff.
  12. Rumour is that Michu will be forced to retire.
  13. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2645224/David-Moyes-dive-straight-management-Manchester-United-sacking.html
  14. It's positive that we seem to have stuck to our guns, it looked like we were being rolled over and tickled by Liverpool at one point. But maybe, just maybe...just maybe, they are learning and potentially understand that it's a no lose situation for us. Say no for now, Liverpool walk away. Has a storming WC, we then can demand £35m and we get more dollar. Or he doesn't have a great WC, no one comes back in and he stays as ours. Win, Win. Although he is off in my opinion, just a matter of time. We just want as much as we can get for him.
  15. Of course that's all Puel's fault, and nothing to do with the fact that Monaco and PSG have bought everyone. Would be interesting to see Window's views on this one.
  16. When Shaw does go, and we potentially get Puel, I think this bloke is nailed on as our new LB. Timothée Kolodziejczak We've been linked with him previously. He plays for him currently at Nice.
  17. tbh, that Ed bloke they have as their CEO is almost as clueless as ours.
  18. Yeah, pretty attacking manager all being told. I just get the feeling it's nailed on to be him, which in the circumstances is a bit of damn good news after a crappy couple of weeks.
  19. And you can bet your bottom dollar that our friend Ralph will come out with something like this.....''Yes, we've sold our best players, but the new manager will have a lot of money to reinforce the team. We have a lot of funds to add to the side and we want to go shopping for Southampton saints'' RK - Hi Swansea, we would like to buy Neil taylor please. We value him at £3-4m Swansea - Hi Southampton, I understand you have a lot of money to spend. We want £8m please RK - We can't be paying that. Bye Onto the next target....
  20. Koeman candidate in Southampton Ronald Koeman does not yet know where he will coach next season .. © ANP Ronald Koeman is one of the two remaining candidates for the vacancy at Southampton head coach . The English Premier League club has a great season so far , led by Mauricio Pochettino . The Argentine coach has become the new coach of Tottenham Hotspur , where he has signed for five years. Koeman preys after his voluntary departure from Feyenoord , where he has taken on an adventure in England for three years. Maximum out of the team It's close to home and that competition is not he previously worked as a trainer or as a footballer . " In the Netherlands I see myself in the first years as a trainer be ," he said in his farewell at De Kuip . Southampton want knots in the next week heels. Although the club is not one of the largest in England, thanks to the strong seasonal entitled to almost 65 million in TV rights . That gives the club again clout in the transfer market .
  21. Is that just because he's dutch, and looks slightly similar?
  22. He's the sort of player that is easy to defend against, once you know his strengths and most importantly his weaknesses. As people have said, pretty much a one trick pony, if he was any good he'd have made a real name for himself at Spurs after his early impact - but the fact he's now surplus kind of confirms they've sussed him too. But to be honest, the way this summer could go....he's another body we could put on the pitch!
  23. Realistically, Sigurdsson would be a great addition for us.....if as expected, Morgan does leave, he'd be a nice replacement. Not like for like as such, but would add to the side.
  24. See, I'm not quite sure Reed deserves this kind of strong criticism at the moment. He was brought here by NC and has overseen our rise as much as anyone else, so he's clearly been involved in some good decisions along the way. The fact he has been given more involvement is possibly somewhat worrying, and indicative of our naive board, but from where I'm standing he's the last person I'd put the blame and I would argue that he's earnt a little bit of trust from the supporter base, after-all, he has been involved in a lot of good over the last 5 years.
