  1. I still don't understand this panic whereby we cannot play more than 1 game a week. Does everyone still remember the L1 and Champ days? Morgan, Lallana, Lambert, Fonte, Cork played Tuesday > Saturday > Tuesday throughout the season, we didn't panic about fitness then. They're professional footballers supported by an excellent set-up. We're more than capable to handle 2 games a week.
  2. Indeed, based on the mid-week results, this could be an enormous win for them. Bet spurs are gutted!
  3. Fulham are down and out.
  4. Liverpool have a last minute penalty at Fulham.
  5. Arsenal are trash at the moment.
  6. Looks like we're safe and sound in 8th. Spurs 2 up
  7. He is such an awful player. Woeful. Hope he plays when we face Liverpool.
  8. Southampton have won back-to-back away Premier League games for the first time since September 2001, 104 matches ago. Holy jebus, we really are in a new era...!
  9. "For me, if you take away the big boys, Southampton are the best team in this league and once again they made life very difficult for us," said Bruce.
  10. I keep wavering as he has been incredibly frustrating, but his appearances prior to injury have reignited something about him, there's talent there waiting to burst out.
  11. Don't forget young Gaston as well, still think he'll have a part to play.
  12. That bloody Cortese was holding us back.
  13. There was quite a funny moment, where he decided he was going to tie his shoelaces. So he took off his gloves and did it. He then decided to take a comical amount of time to put the gloves back on, and when he started getting booed (as it was a GK) he started jeering and jestering back at the Hull fans! He's a character...
  14. Maya was nursing injuries throughout the first part of the season, didn't help that he missed a good chunk of pre-season due to the confed cup. Good squad player though, and seems to have improved under MP's guidance. Good to see.
  15. TBF, he should do. I think Yoshida is still a great squad player, but you don't leave out one of the best defenders in European football if he's available!
  16. Yep, we're getting ourselves back into gear - which was always going to happen once we navigated through that awful run of fixtures with a thread bare squad. Reality is that we're a decent side at this level, just not quite good enough to go toe to toe with the top 4 when we have injuries. Not too shabby really.
  17. In my eyes, MP's most consistent player. He's been solid ever since MP has been here, he seems utterly perfect for the way we want to play.
  18. Someone like Hernandez @ Utd would be pure perfection for this team.
  19. It's a long list....!
  20. Ah yes, also a very big plus to Yoshida. He's come back from the wilderness and has put in some very astute displays. Kept Long and Jelavic quiet most of the night (Jelavic is pretty horrific mind)
  21. Too very evenenly matched players. Clyne has the plus with his pace, but Chambers is so solid as well. Can't remember being in a position at this level by having 2 top players at full back.
  22. Blimey, WBA score.
  23. Really professional away job, in my opinion. We were always the better side on the ball, but we were lacking that killer touch in the final third for most of the match. Even the goal it's self took a few attempts! Bit of a frustrating performance from Lambo and Lallana, but I thought the midfield of Davis, Cork and Morgan bossed it and didn't allow Huddlestone to get on the ball - as he can dictate it if given the chance. Good result at a tough place to go, got to be happy with that.
