This has been such a boring window in many ways, not for us - but for football in general. As other's have said, January isn't the month to make big signings. Panic signings, yes, but we don't need to panic. Would have liked a wide man, but never mind. Just need to hope we keep them players fit.

If it ends as it does, then I'd have to say it's been slightly disappointing if I'm honest. Was expecting a little more. But I'm not going to sulk and moan about it. We've got a squad of players who are doing a good job for us as it is, so let's be thankful for what we have rather than moan about what we don't have. We can't change it.

Just heard a weird rumour that SDR's move is part of our move for Lee Chung-Yong. Probably not true, but we do love our eastern signings at the mo.

What a dull deadline day this is. (not just us, but all clubs) QPR are just being predictably boring with their over-expensive signings and has-beens.

Well, that's a load of tosh for sure. Why do people spend time to come up with **** like this?

It's positive to see us play so well and with so much composure away at a place like that though, and a performance such as that will only aid our confidence.

I just get irriated by people who just have no perspective what so ever. You say looking at the bigger picture is the fact that Reading have closed the gap on us, in fact that's a short-term snapshot view based on this set of fixtures. I've been very happy with the way we've played for the last few months, I think we look like a pretty decent PL team at long last. I didn't expect anything today if I'm honest, I kind of saw it as a bonus game - so not suprised we lost, but so encouraged by the display in the 2nd half and the reaction to the positive changes which were made at HT. I think the entire club have made huge strides in the last few months, and MP is now taking on the foundations NA put in place and is changing things in his own way. In the long run, if we continue how we've been doing in the last few months, we will have a nice 2nd half of the season.
