  1. We can only get better in our attacking performance, that's for sure!
  2. There will always be a feed on that site, top quality stream. Looks great pumped through my 42" TV and surround sound
  3. Gaston for me. He's made of glass and runs around like a feather in away games.
  4. I don't really think we've played that well, all a bit of a non-event from us.
  5. Frustrating half, lots of possession, but all a bit powder puff really. Our final third pass/touch has been pretty rubbish. Wigan have been absolutely diabolical, which can only bode well for the 2nd half as we can only get better....
  6. Christ, sky drag this out don't they??? painful viewing tonight, yet for some reason I've kept watching..
  7. Why has it? what is with these maniac posts tonight? Seriously, how easy do people actually think it is to make signings? There was nothing wrong with Adkins pull, just as such there isn't anything wrong with MP's pull. If the players aren't there and gettable, then what do you do? Pay over the odds to get them, or get someone you don't really want?
  8. I don't think that was the plan at all, well done for twisting it all over the show.
  9. Draw still wouldn't be the end of the world, but a win would be huge. Need to at least maintain the gap going into the Man City game.
  10. Di Santo? Blows hot and cold. Decent player, but never really looks threatening enough. Has had a better year this year though. Not sure Sharner really strengthens them. Squaddy at best. Henrique - Forren. 2 equally good signings.
  11. Yep. He's cocked up his career here. I imagine the clubs will now try to force something through though, him staying at WBA now benefits no one. He's burnt all bridges.
  12. Really? Can't think of anyone they've signed off the top of my head? They've also lost Ramis, Boyce and Kone.
  13. I keep hearing this, but other than QPR and Newcastle, who have bought well?
  14. A combination of the Zoo, the farm and the mental asylum.
  15. Villa are in a worse place than us.
  16. Wide area has a big question mark over it for me, but our first choice options are bloody good to be fair - so we're lucky in that sense. Let's just go with it. Not much we can do now.
  17. A lot of that was said back in November, when we looked light years away from being a competitive premiership team. Since then, we've intergrated Rameriz into the team (at home, to be fair). Fonte has grown into the premiership, Yoshida has grown, Shaw has come off the production line and made left back his own and Boruc has finally solved our Gk issue. I don't think we saw those options back in early November, and with the addition of Forren we do have some decent options at the back. Personally, I think we look like a bloody good side these days - in really good form. Will be interesting to see how we do on Saturday, if we play as we did at OT, we'll have too much for them IMO.
  18. No, we won't. That's why that's a completely skewed ambition.
  19. I see Mayuka is being written off, which doesn't make much sense. He's not exaclty played much for us. Reminds me of the Boruc situation, written off and put on peoples released lists for not doing anything particularly wrong.
  20. People need to remember we've already spent £35m in this season, for a club like us you can't really go much higher than that in a single season
  21. Villa have signed Simon Dawkins from Spurs. Who? Excellent.
  22. Would be interesting to know if we had any inquiries for any of our players...
  23. This has been such a boring window in many ways, not for us - but for football in general. As other's have said, January isn't the month to make big signings. Panic signings, yes, but we don't need to panic. Would have liked a wide man, but never mind. Just need to hope we keep them players fit.
  24. Senior figure at Southampton - ''no more business''. Thread closed.
