  1. Our 39 goals conceded in that time is a stand out stat.

Clearly it's not dead, they'll try other means to increase their power. Modern elite football is rotten to the core with corruption. They'll bribe the right people next time.
  4. It's sad really, back in the autumn we were flying, dreaming of a European place, playing great football, winning on the road regularly, local lad hero 'king of the scummers ' leading the charge, scoring for England with a chance of playing in the Euros, first hero for the kids since Lambert really. Since then it's fallen apart, he clearly wanted out, Saints have been shite for months, Ings injury record back to being poor, he'll leave but for petty cash, all very depressing state of affairs.
  5. If Ings is hamstring again we might not see him again this season either.
  6. I'd not be upset if we went down, get away from the big greedy 6 and away from fucking VAR. As for the game today, thought we were excellent at times in the first half and should have scored more. Utterly depressing how many points we drop from winning positions, same old Saints. We've been rock bottom of the league based on last 20 games, that's horrific run of form, not sure how Ralph comes back from that with likely defeats to Leicester and Liverpool up next.
  7. Table from last 15 games, can't see Ralph surviving this, got to be worth a bet on us to go down next season
  8. Complete unknown how Spurs will react to Mourinho being sacked and Kane being injured, in theory a good time to play them.
  9. The attacking ability in our line up should at least ensure a few shots on target. Spurs at home was painful back in September, let's not get thrashed again Saints.
  10. We're fucked, Ralph knows that, he always plays McCarthy when expecting to concede a ton of goals. No balance to defence and no midfield. We'll concede at least 3.
  11. Such a dramatic turn of form is a head scratcher , can't just be down to our injuries. Player contracts is an issue. Watch back some of our games from earlier in the season and we do look a completely different team. Shame really, we all got our hopes up a bit.

Agree , looks like they think they can just say they have withdrawn and that's the end of it, will be a shame if that's allowed to happen. Champions league is already being amended to suit the needs of these clubs, they'll still keep trying to wrestle more control no doubt about it.

Maguire was on the terraces supporting Sheffield United away at Burton when they were in league one with his childhood pals, he probably gets the fans as he was one.

Yes tell Gao that Saints voice now have voting rights 51% of his club 🤣 But I agree would be good to shift the culture of the Premier league away from these owners.

Seriously don't let them off just like that, 1 year ban from European football for all as a warning at least. Make life difficult for them.

Good turn out at Stamford Bridge from Chelsea fans tonight letting their feelings known, warning sign to clubs of what will happen.

It's been a good 48 hours entertainment to be fair. Apparently Gao has asked if Saints can take Chelsea's place

Doesn't matter to me if our income drops as long as all clubs income drops as well, people who have to take financial hit are the players (wages) and owners (asset value of the club) Football would carry on.

If you assume big drop in income a d costs staying the same then yes the whole professional football pyramid would collapse, but by far the highest cost at football clubs is players wages, they would need to come down in line with wages. Not easy to do but would be better in the long run.

Absolutely no way the 14 will vote to kick the 6 out. They'll agree to it with money promised from ESL to be paid , owners will protect their short term values, they have no backbone.
  21. He was dreadful, reminded me of myself playing football, not sure what position he was supposed to be, lost the ball every time he got possession, looked completely out of his depth. Game over for Nath.
  22. I think it might come at a good time for us, chaos will throw a lot of clubs plans into turmoil so we won't be the only ones in a mess.
  23. Genuine question: As Spurs know they are in the European Super league is there any incentive for them to chase a Europa league qualification position in the league still when they've got no intention of playing in it?

Not sure how Greensill is relevant to the European Super league, govt will have limited power here , maybe they will try to create some to ensure the big 6 lobby influential figures on their behalf?
