He'll get a decent move, Milan clubs seem to like picking up experienced players to get another year or two out of them, wouldn't surprise me. Shame to lose him on a free, we'll have to pay quite a bit for a replacement of his standard.

The club haven't actually said what will be required yet from what I can see , but website mentions tickets available to download from 72 hours before again so will be linked to questionnaire (which is just to confirm you don't have covid or have been in contact with someone) and perhaps they are still making a decision on staggered arrival times , it was bad enough to ask some to arrive from 10am for the Sunday midday ko against Sheff Utd but this could be worse for those who might have to take time off work to get to St Mary's for 4pm on a Tuesday!

In the top flight 1966-1974 1978-2005 2012-2022 (at least) For the modern era in most fans lifetimes it's unusual not to see Saints as a top flight club, not many teams can compare to that record.

Not sure Ferry has done enough to earn a first team game, but nothing to lose by giving him a chance. You look at that side and good to see some pace going forward, but no natural finishers, I think we'll struggle to score again

I remember the first game of the season, we'd had a storming end to the previous season and were feeling confident, Palace had virtually no fit defenders and still managed to beat us 1-0. Hopefully we can at least get a goal this time. 1-1.

Even Antonio admitted on Monday night football that he no longer celebrates goals as he got fed up with them being reviewed then disallowed , going to be the same with fans, the end of spontaneous scenes of joy in the stand as the ball hits the back of the net provides an overwhelming case to end VAR now.

I think generally it's attention seekers writing things they know will get a reaction and the more publicity it gets the more oddballs will do it. Personally I think sports people on social media will always get stick, even from their own fans when playing badly, but the racial side of it is more to do with the attention seekers looking for highest possible impact / reaction, if calling the players something else caused a bigger fuss they'd probably just use that.

How does that work at this age group? Do we just lose the player for nothing?
-
They were complaining when they were winning things, campaigning to get the Glazers out has been there the whole time, United fans even started a new football club on the back of the takeover. I get the feeling you're not to clued up on this topic or football fan culture in general.

They are such a yoyo club, how many times have they been relegated from the Prem now?. If I was a West Brom fan I'd just be annoyed they left it so late in the season to give it a go, they've looked decent in the last month. Still they'll probably get promoted again next season.
-
Liverpool to win 1-0, Klopp to cry at the final whistle. Have we ever done the league double against Liverpool ?
-
Just funny they went down there to celebrate promotion and got beat 2-1 by Exeter with an injury time winner after all that!
-
Would make sense wouldn't it. Dont pack up the tv cameras etc just carry on. They'll probably have a huge police presence but with no fans there this time

Just good old end of season fun https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/bolton-wanderers-police-investigate-incident-20510489.amp

I had a good chuckle at the news reporting, fans having possibly the most globally watched fixture cancelled and they seem more concerned that protests were not observing covid restrictions haha. The corporate sanitised world of Premier league football needs a bit of this, I think there could be more to come. Great to see massive numbers out in Milan to celebrate title win, and at Ajax, there were even 500 fans breaking in at Bolton Wanderers yesterday, pleased to see people getting out and taking back some control.
-
Blimey that's horrific but not surprising, they should stick that on the wall at Staplewood to shame the players and staff.
-
-
Not again FFS. Are we relegated yet?
-
Absolutely brilliant, hats off to the United fans, that's how to protest. Hopefully Liverpool will have to squeeze the game close to our game and disrupt them for that as well.
-
Almost there now, still looking likely we could end up 17th though which is still terrible but at least we survive for another season in the best league in the world
-
The general consensus seems to be that Salisu and KWP are developing into very good players, Bednarek and Vestergaard are good international players, we've got the making of a decent defence next season. Left back and goal keeper are the big doubts. Gives us something to build on though.

I heard Karen Carney commentate a few months back, her co-commentator said things are looking ominous for Arsenal, after a period of silence she said sorry I don't know what that means and claimed she'd never heard the word ominous before.

Tyler combined with Leicester fan Alan Smith was a terrible combination and made very painful listening. It was only when we got to half time pundits that we got some balance opinions, One of the reasons I can't wait to be back at matches, actually supporting the team and not having to listen to morons on sky.
-
Agree with that, it's what we've been asking for, a proper team effort , did really well up against it tonight. The red card was a joke and should be overturned, not sure if we'll appeal as only one game.

Agree it's getting beyond a joke
