    2021/22 Kit

Just noticed this myself, I know our kids sizes can't have a betting company on, but bloody hell just leave the kids shirts blank and spomsorless rather than put Utilita on them now making them look exactly like Brentford. It's hardly a replica kit is it. Should be same sponsor as the first team or none at all.
  2. Sounds ridiculously over complicated and unnecessary. Some one who owns a couple of season tickets should be free to bring a mate along with them, none of this payment to upgrade a membership and reassign a ticket (limited to one other nonsense) Don't like the direction this is going in.
  3. They definitely need to clarify that, so many people share tickets or take friends and family along on spares. Electronic itself will be ok, you'll be able to send pdf to a mate to show on their phone or print off, the problem will be if they check ID and don't let you in or if they limit tickets to the Saints app, but surely that's just optional as some people don't have / want a smart phone so print at home needs to remain as an option.
  4. Apparently big queue already forming down the ticket office, mainly people after Kingsland Premium padded, get in quick to avoid disappointment.
  5. Can't complain with the prices in general there. Particularly good prices for 18-24 year olds.
  6. I was directly behind him block 5 of the Archers, from memory it was 25 years on from the cup win (fresh in the memory in those days!) I think some of the cup winning players paraded on the pitch. His flag was from 76 but the stewards / police were having none of it, either your flag goes or you go sort of thing so he ended up out. Maybe football clubs treating fans badly isn't such a new thing after all.
  7. Completely agree with your points Pete, I'm losing count of the number of people I know losing interest in Saints / Premier league and issues like this don't help. I don't like the way the govt and media are trying to turn the vaccinated on the non-vaccinated, ultimately personal choice should be allowed and no discrimination should come from that. Hopefully they leave children alone and not try to force it on them. Shame to see the end of an era fans like yourself and others on this thread, regulars from The Dell days that remember how football should be.
  8. Think we had that certainly in 2016/17, not sure last few years. I get why some didn't renew this season, was always looking likely we'd struggle to attend, I'd like to think 4k had seen enough of VAR and binned premier league football but doubt it was that many.
  9. We need to get ourselves OUT of the cups ASAP next season to give us the best chance of survival as well
  10. I was told between 15-16k When club asked those who felt comfortable returning to the stadium in November/ December about 10k "opted in"
  11. I wonder what he's daydreaming about at that moment? Probably suddenly remembered he hasn't got any milk in the fridge and needs to pick some up on the way home at Fleet services.
  12. Mohammed Elynoussi and Mario Lemina back in the side with a point to prove could be just what we need.
  13. The look on his face reminds me of mine when playing at a level completely out of my depth,it's a shame but I think his time is done here.
  14. Big Sam is available if we need him
  15. I would say get the players in tomorrow morning but of course they'll all be in the Wetherspoons in the departure lounge at Gatwick, can't wait to get away and it showed.
  16. Depressingly predictable. Our annual beating at the Athletics track, the Premier league did us a favour voting against away fans attending these final games. Shouldn't be a problem social distancing at St Mary's next season, so many season ticket holders I know not bothering to renew.
  17. Ralph obviously hoping a heavy defeat will come as a reminder to the board to get their cheque book out this summer.
  18. The only argument I could suggest for this move is if the club reduced prices elsewhere by the same difference, therefore increasing football's affordability, compared to other clubs are cheapest seats are still quite pricey. (I know the club tried to change this adding in the Itchen Chapel corner £399 season ticket. The club are probably hoping most of block 31 will just suck up and pay the extra or move to equivalent seats in blocks 30 or 32.
  19. Look at the super league talk , you are a legacy fan, they need to attract the next gen casual fan, seduced by the opportunity to watch star players in the world's greatest league (playing against Saints)
  20. It's quite apt that in the week we've been looking back at pics from the last game at The Dell 20 years ago this is a good reminder of how far removed the club is from it's fan base now. I've been in Kingsland centre a few times, it's mainly old boys who've had their seats since we moved to St Mary's, they will feel completely disregarded in this. What I don't understand is the club clearly struggle to sell the Premium packages that we already have, often corporate boxes empty , hospitality in Itchen centre only tends to sell out for big 6 games and it's not Saints fans buying those packages. If the new seats are bigger then assume this actually reduces our capacity as well.
  21. Yeah the Eastleigh bloke clearly got bullied by Saints fans at school. As a general rule West Ham fans I've met are quite old school, stadium move had a been a disaster for them, loved our visits to the Boleyn , we always took good numbers , I'm in no rush to go back to the Athletics track just not the same.
  22. Some thoughts from the Happy Hammers https://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=180379 Fair play to them qualifying for Europe, one of the clubs who would take good numbers abroad, I always remember when they played Palermo in Sicily, what an away trip that must have been. Funny how both of us were promoted in 2012, both qualified for Europe in 2015 and 2016 and managed to mess it up against random opposition (Midgetland and Hapoel Be'ersheeva in our case, they lost to the same Romanian outfit two years in a row)
  23. 5 Rivers has reopened mate , think it's the same offering the Indian food. I've not been myself but heard good things

    Injury Watch

Think so, Bertrand probably doesn't want to play to run the risk of injury before he's signed a new contract somewhere so we've come to a gardening leave arrangement.
  25. Yeah I know a few who went, £60 is a joke (club tried to justify it offering them some free food), at the end they said stay in your seats for lap of honour , then players didn't bother coming out and after 30 mins announcement said they should leave , booing their team off, skirmishes with the stewards, all in all a great night back 🤣
