That looks good , 3 wins in our last 4 home games....but check the away form table, Leeds have 3 wins in their last 4 away. Perhaps a draw then.
-
I see Saints are producing a special programme for tonight, not see it yet...could Gao possibly? Unfortunately a Leeds fan has reminded me of the time we were 3-0 up and they managed to come back to win 3-4, could see it being that type of game tonight.
-
All 4 of them have potential for decent away day, but has to be Barnsley for me, proper away day in the same sort of style Huddesfield was, but if not I've always enjoyed trips to South Wales. I'd have preferred Brentford if they were still at Griffin Park, sort of place if they don't come up hopefully we'll play them away pre season.

Leeds midfield have impressed me last few games, they seem to cover unbelievable amount of ground , I wouldn't be surprised to see Diallo in for this especially as three games in a week might be asking too much for Armstrong. I saw Alioski has been reported for making a gesture but assume no punishment, Leeds unlikely to drop lower than 10th so could make a few changes themselves. Fans seem confident https://www.motforum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=41578

Don't confuse what is going on with what "the player's want", my mate saw a few of them in Waitrose the other day and congratulated them for taking a stance, allegedly Djenepo laughed and said don't be silly it's a load of woke corporate bullshit virtue signalling designed to make the Premier league look on message and tick some diversity boxes. Not my words mate, those of Moussa Djenepo.

There were loud boos at the FA Cup final when the player's got down on their knees, they'll need to get used to it now fans are coming back, as much as SKY and their commentators want to lecture people about it plenty of fans don't want to see it.
-
Yes if you assume Liverpool will beat Burnley and Palace (They won't if they play like they did today) then it really turns the Chelsea v Leicester game into another cup final, a champions league play off. Chelsea fan on the radio said Tuesday's game is more important than the FA Cup Final, sums up the big 6 mentality.
-
What I should have said is, we wouldn't need to buy a young forward to break through when we have one of our own already doing just that.
-
Knowing you mate you'll spend your time in the ground wisely, have you already made your sign asking for a player's shirt when they do their lap of honour?
-
Tough game. Leeds away a few months ago was up there with our worst performances this season so hopefully we show up this time. Our defence will have to be a lot tighter than it was yesterday, luckily Fulham didn't have any good finishers in their side. A chance to end the season on a high in front of 8,000 home fans and get up to 46 points to equal our Puel season.
-
Plenty of pubs will be open within a short walk of the ground and they'd all love a bit of trade on a Tuesday afternoon to get them going again 👍 Its hardly going to incentivise people to get in the ground early on a damp Tuesday, arrive an hour and 20 before kick off, we'll let you buy a sausage roll and send you straight to your seat, haha no thanks especially for those where the seats are not fully covered.
-
I know people who got 4.40pm arrival, no chance of getting there in time for that with work and travel, but as long as enough fans spread out should still be quick enough to get in the ground as long as the stewards don't faff around for too long checking ID.
-
Agree with that, compared to Tella's impact off the bench we've got a much better prospect.
-
Ralph mentioned in the Palace game that Ings fitness wasn't up to playing 90 mins especially as we have 3 games in a week, taking him off early yesterday hopefully means he can play for 75 mins on Tuesday against Leeds. He'll be desperate to get a couple more goals this season to keep his name in contention for an England call up.
-
It's really hard not to feel jealous of Leicester, in recent years they've got to see their team win the league, good run in the Champions League, win the FA Cup and perhaps their biggest achievement of all beating Saints by that infamous scoreline, enough "Once in a lifetime" moments in just a few years.
-
Seeing how poor Chelsea have been in this cup final, can't help thinking if only.....
-
It was like playing with 9 men at times, luckily Fulham were poor and others stepped up and put in good performances. One more win needed to equal Claude Puels points total of 2017, will be good to hit that landmark.
-
I'd be tempted to play Armstrong but look to sub him on 60 mins, been one of our best players last few games. Although Fulham look weak and have been relegated I've seen them win 2- 0 at Everton, 1-0 at Liverpool , they also won at Leicester and should have won away at Arsenal but for a 97th min goal so they clearly are capable of putting a performance away from home not to be taken lightly on their day.
-
I expect he'll be on the bench for the Leeds game so he can take part in the end of season lap of honour
-
Don't think we have any members so would just be database, to sell out to season ticket holders we need just over half of all season ticket holders to take up option to buy, bound to be plenty put off by hassle of such an early kick off on a Tuesday plus all the other Covid restrictions, then add in our poor form not surprising demand isn't high.
-
Anyone able to see how many tickets are left for this? Last group of season ticket holders qualify tomorrow will be interesting to see how quickly it sells out.
-
Wonder if he'll play again this season , hopefully get a run out end of Leeds game, would get a good reception from the fans I'm sure.
-
Agree he was absolutely top quality left back in his prime, 19 England caps so still a decent number of appearances but should have had more. We'll struggle to replace him, Matt Targett would have been worth holding onto.
-
Wouldn't surprise me if Fulham play with more freedom and open up a bit now they have relegation confirmed, should mean an entertaining game and a few goals, Lemina can't play , hopefully another 3-1 and push on up the table, 13th place finish wouldn't be too bad.

When I saw the pundits I wasn't hopeful, especially Clinton who just rambles all the time, but they were ok actually except for agreeing that it was a pen and Zaha "did well to win it" when clearly he stuck his leg in front of Redmond and dived. It was nice to actually enjoy a game for once, good performance, Minamino does seem too weak, there was a picture on the Saints website of the team training during the week and looked like he was struggling to do a press up which would explain a lot.
