He was probably treated like a hero on the bingo bus home for such hilarious bantz, the true Archbishop of Banterbury
  3. In a world where we constantly get the 'glamour and money' of the Premier league with shiny stadiums full of tourists promoted by Sky Sports the likes of Burnley represent the antithesis of that, it is always windy and cold but that's the beauty of it.
  4. Sounds like a plan mate, I've not been since we had that drink up in Hebden Bridge top day that was. Good luck with the move 👍
  5. I agree, he didn't leave under bad circumstances and he was here and part of some great times for the club, he looked a bit gutted first time he came over to Northam / Kingsland corner and realised he was being booed Also "he's our Cedric" to the tune of she's electric is one of the few decent original songs we've had

How is Lewington still going for MK Don's? I remember him when we played them and the worst song in history about you look like a wotsit

Owls focus is getting into play offs themselves, both themselves and Blades tend to look their noses down at Rotherham
  8. Some of the usual faces are going , sort of game I'd usually love, sold about 500 tickets pointless game in Burnley on a Thursday , proper away day, still tempted to go

Give me this over a trip to the Emirates any day

As long as our fans don't start singing I'm forever blowing bubbles again, it's a good away day plenty of good pubs around London Bridge, there seems too many London clubs in top flight now. Unlikely they'll make play offs though, Luton or Forest both good for me

    Dyche sacked

Agree I think it was already likely but that's the bottom 3 down in my opinion.

Still looks like Fulham and Bournemouth for auto promotion although Huddersfield could still do it, I would love Luton to come up, have a good mate who follows them home and away and a good core of their support stuck with them in non league, Kenilworth Road in the Premier league would be magic.

Rangers and West Ham have done brilliantly, looking at them and Leicester getting to European semi finals tonight it's hard not to feel a bit jealous, would love to do that with Saints
  14. What is this nonsense. I'll make sure I run the taps for longer than usual in the toilets and put my food waste in the recycling bin , probably treat myself to a taxi down the ground to add more to my usual carbon footprint
  15. They're having a laugh aren't they. Have all year to plan a game they know will be between North v South and they want you to believe the ONLY place available is STOCKPORT haha
  16. It was sold out before the Chelsea game, like at Christmas people seem to like these games, something to do I suppose

Cheers mate, what time are we leaving for the away leg? I'm up for that

Nice one how are you following it? Any idea if we win the league if we then play off against Northern winners or is it just a trophy for each league?

We should be given credit for our role in assisting Chelsea in their preparation for this game
  20. Does anyone know why they are allowed to show Liverpool v Man City in the FA Cup semi final at 3.30pm live on BBC on Saturday? There used to be a rule against showing games between 3pm - 5pm on a Saturday, perhaps they've been allowed as lower leagues are mostly playing on good Friday. I might ask Saints if they can show it on the big screens so we can have something to keep us entertained if it all goes wrong again
  21. Yep make it an exclusive club , I'm still surprised more fuss wasn't made when they allowed Man Utd to create a team and go straight into the top flight, competition has no integrity when you allow things like that.
  22. Crazy. It looks like the women's championship is a division of 12 which is randomly small anyway, of that one team gets promoted and one relegated, looking at the current table Liverpool are comfortable winners and Coventry relegated so the rest of the division is just playing out dead rubbers. Pointless football. Top flight also only has 12 teams with one relegated, why so small and protectionist? Allow movement between divisions creates more competition and incentive for those in the lower divisions to improve. Saints can "win" the league at home to Pompey, thinking of taking my daughter as school holidays but hardly seems worth celebrating as its worth nothing unless they beat Wolves as well.

Well there's no fun in that. More likely you have a soft spot for the Toffees
  24. Hard to get up for this game, likely defeat, Arsenal have to go for the win with a tough run of fixtures to come likely they'll miss out on top 4
  25. "He hasn't looked any worse than what was already there" Not sure if that's a compliment. But agree I don't worry as much as I used to when seeing his name, much better at cb than he is at rb
