Could do with them, there's a few teams behind us in the table ready ready to overtake if we lose to Chelsea and Arsenal
-
I was at the game last night and thought both our lads did as well as they could, JWP effort level was top notch, appeared all over the pitch and always seemed to be looking for the ball, just a shame his screamer didn't dip under the bar. KWP looked comfortable at this level, just hope they are both given another chance. First England friendly I've done for a few years and what an odd experience, I moan about St Mary's at times but the sheer lack of interest in the crowd is astounding, you've got the regular England fans in one end lower tier, then the rest of the ground is made up of day trippers and corporate club Wembley, booing Maguire seemed a strange thing to do, paper aeroplanes floating down from the stands getting the biggest cheer of the game, ground was virtually empty by the 80th min. Need to play more games away from Wembley in my opinion.

I've been there 7 or 8 times and have managed to never see us win, been a few disappointing defeats over the years, last few times I went we were stuck in the corner "cheese wedge" and generally took quite poor numbers, looks like we've sold out close to 3000 for this trip, very impressive, on the side now by players tunnel, always seems a good atmosphere at Elland Road so should be decent. I'll predict 2-2

The authorities decided the top two divisions are a closed shop for some reason , only one place up for grabs between North and south.
-
Our goal difference looks good, worth an extra point, definitely need to avoid defeat at Ipswich. Still think it utterly mental that despite all this potentially no one from our division will be promoted , pathetic especially when Man Utd were fast tracked into the top division.

Including an image of a kneeling player woven into the design, perfect. I love brave people me.
-
I quite liked it as a kid but that might be because we could double up as Denmark in subbuteo. Makes me think of Colin Clarke as well. The Danes had the same design but opposite colours as a change kit as well.
-
I'd happily swap places with Italy, win the Euros at Wembley and give the farcical winter World Cup in Qatar a swerve.
-
Seems like a lot, if we're still in with a chance they can probably rest some players when we play against Hounslow based on that table, poor ladies must be wishing their season was over. Gillingham away this weekend looks a tough one.

2017? I remember we had 4 players in the squad, Forster, Bertrand, JWP and Redmond
-
England's number 1, England's England's number 1. When you look at some of the goals Pickford and Pope have conceded it's not like England have a clear outstanding keeper at the moment. Pleased for Forster.
-
Good to get the three points, how does that leave the table looking?
-
Since then we've been taken over, new owners could have refinanced or paid off some debt as part of the deal, the low price Gao sold for must have taken into account the debt. Crazy amount of interest to be paying.
-
I'd have thought Southgate will go with one for the future - Henderson?
-
-
Yep absolute joke in my opinion, he could have taken one of those pens in the final..instead we had an 50% fit Henderson offering nothing
-
I've not been paying attention but that's quite funny when there were 4 right backs in the squad for the Euros last summer and now none of them are available for these pointless friendlies? We are in a World Cup year so nows the chance to get involved. JWP was in every England squad building up to the Euros and then missed out so Southgate owes him for that.

Age is just a number, that Fonte looked good in the Champions league last week against Chelsea
-
Well deserved, hope he manages to get on and get an England cap. How many full England Internationals in our squad will that be? 6 I think
-
His assets are frozen, payment will probably be held in an account on his behalf until they are either unfrozen or formally seized by the British Government. I'd got my hopes up that Chelsea would suffer a bit but realistically they'll more likely end up with a new owner with even greater wealth. Being Champions league holders and World Club Champions located in the most prime property spot in London not going to be short of offers. Was hoping we could go back to the Chelsea of 1992, struggling in a crumbling Stamford Bridge they only got 9,000 attendance for our game there , those were the days.

Depends where you were sat I suppose , I was in the Kingsland right in line with the incident a few metres in front of me, looked like Jesus flung himself to the ground with minimal contact at the time, highlights confirm that for me
-
Just watched the highlights and maintain what I thought at the ground, the penalty was very harsh, Jesus makes a meal of it when Salisu tries to show him away from goal, very little contact
-
League Cup final was Chelsea v Liverpool FA Cuo semi finals featuring Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City Quite possible three of the champions league semi finals will be Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City Hard to keep an interest in it.
-
Pretty much sums up my thoughts, plenty of league games left for Ralph to do some of his experiments

It would be interesting to see some proper analysis of those numbers, seems to be a high number "loss" to be blamed on the pandemic. OK we didn't have ticket sales but TV revenue continued. Any of that linked to our sponsor that didn't really exist? Did LD Sports ever pay us? Commercially the club haven't really progressed, about 50% of the hospitality seats looked empty today for a FA Cup 1/4 final v Manchester City, priced all wrong?
