Home draw is good though, I wonder if the club will revert to the old days of leaving part of the Northam for home fans or just carry on with this nonsense of giving them whole end but leaving 2 blocks (about 1000 seats) as segregation
-
100% fix. We live in the most corrupt times when it comes to football, it's important to the fa to maximise viewing figures for semi final and final to help them bump the price up for next tv deal. Said beforehand they'll keep Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea apart. So predictable.
-
One home defeat all season when was the last time we had a record like that? Championship promotion year? Still have Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool to visit so who knows how it will end but nice to see a proper positive atmosphere around the ground.

Got a link? For pubs I'd definitely recommend drinking near New Street if going by train, plenty of pubs short walk away then get later train over to Witton
-
Classic Saints that, bit of mild panic, we need to do something...I know get the camera and film the people the seats were being chucked at. Few new seats will be needed in Block 41. West Ham lot didn't look at all pleased at the end, lovely to see

Don't tell me he logged on here to read the pre match comments. If you're reading this Ralph let's go full strength in the cup for now on, cheers 👍
-
I'm sure he's put a few past Forster before, low hard in the corner from edge of box. Romeu can keep an eye on him. Villa will try and attack us , hopefully leave some space at the back we can take advantage of, tough game could go either way by a single goal.
-
A couple of years ago a mate of mine observed during the game that Djenepo plays like he's not sure which end we're attacking, I thought it was a good way to describe him! Genuinely not sure if he looks where he's going

Perraud is looking like an excellent signing now, quality left back with a goal threat , top player.
-
Agree with this, I don't understand why experimental teams always have to be in the cup.
-
Fair play Saints and Ralph, I thought the line up was unnecessary and took a lot of risks but they were brilliant, scoring some great goals at the moment as well.
-
I can only imagine Ralph doesn't realise this is the same West Ham in our division and he thinks it's a different West Ham that he saw play against Kidderminster
-
Debating whether to stay in the pub and sack off the game
-
Finishing 8th? Fuck modern football
-
Antonio will have him for breakfast
-
Unbelievable mate, thought Ralph was better than throwing games like this, Ukraine war has affected him worse than I thought
-
West Ham going strong though
-
Fuck off Ralph
-
That could be brilliant timing, losing income whilst getting relegated and having a new stadium just underway with bills to pay on that.
-
He'll have to write off a lot of that debt to secure a sale I think but they'll be attractive to buy, world club champions located in a prime London location
-
Man Citys record of getting easy lower league teams in the draw has become a bizarre pattern. FA will be hoping for a Man City v Liverpool 'showpiece ' final. Looking like a last 8 of; Man City Crystal Palace Middlesbrough Liverpool Chelsea Everton Saints / West Ham Forest / Huddersfield When is the draw due to take place?
-
It's about £2M per place in prize money, the difference you use for Leeds and Palace is also due to television fees that you get each time you're shown, Saints don't tend to get on as much as other sides so over a season that adds up . There are other financial benefits to winning the cup than just prize money, we'd get a share of ticket revenue from semi and final, huge surge in merchandise sales and season ticket sales next season and increased profile of the club. Realistically the best we can hope for in the league is 8th

I'm going to predict 7 changes, these snippets on social media are often clues , Ralph won't have learnt from the Cov game. I'll be disappointed if Valery , Walcott , Long start.
-
I've got a nasty feeling he's going to do a Poch on us. Will never forget when we went to bottom of the table Sunderland in 5th round 2014, Saints were fresh whereas Sunderland also had a league cup final to prepare for, we played a weakened team and crashed out absolute shambles.
