FA would sell them direct to Chelsea fans rather than via Chelsea
-
Yeah Watford have taken the "middle" allocation of 2400, they've sold just over 2000 so will be a few empty seats in their end still. Sunday lunchtime games often feel quite flat so hopefully having block 43 as home fans will help

The season ticket holder 2nd dibs thing is new isn't it? I'll end up having to call up again no doubt, cup games are an opportunity for season ticket holders and members to sit together but the online site always seems to restrict sale to one or the other unless when on general sale when prices have gone up. I think this will sell out easily as like the Coventry game loads of families will go with it being 3pm kick off / cheaper tickets.

When you consider that and and factor in the strengths of their forwards v the weaknesses of our defenders it's hard to be optimistic for this one. Amazing what one bad result can do for confidence. Tempting to play Stephens, Bednarek and Valery as a back 3, need Romeu back on form.

I remember when watching the Swansea cup match they were saying yellow card suspensions are competition specific and red card suspensions covered all competitions, bit confusing but might work in our favour.
-
When is the next cut off? Is it 10 bookings anytime before end of season or does it go up to 15?
-
The point is if you didn't leave blocks 47/48 empty and moved Man City fans up then Saints could use blocks 40 / 41 for home fans like they used to.
-
We just have to offer the same pricing as for our own fans, so you can take from that it will be that price for our season ticket holders and members. No doubt they'll have the whole Northam with extra segregation again , doesn't make any sense when you wouldn't leave blocks empty for Premier league game against same opposition

As a side note good to see so many young lads doing away games enjoying themselves, obviously old bastards like us would have tutted at them getting in the way of the queue for a half time pasty and bovril but good to see nethertheless

Hopefully play the cup final at St Mary's and get a bit of silverware. Is this the women's equivalent of the JPT for 3rd tier down to compete for? Any idea how good Huddersfield are?
-
Massive game that. Oxford are top of the league now and we still have to play them twice. The league table looks so strange, rest of the top 4 have all played 18 games and we're stuck on 13 still. 5 games in hand but 10 points behind.

Get that nipper Ollie Lancashire in
-
The only reason for our game being on Thursday seems to be so it doesn't clash with champions league games, probably something to do with international TV contracts or along those lines but ridiculous whatever it is
-
Sorry I meant the combination of defending against Wood and Saint-Maximin
-
I've visited Serbia and spent some time in Belgrade, can tell you they're not too fond of NATO who bombed the City, I think they also have strong ties with Russian orthodox Church
-
I saw a clip with a picture of our end holding up scarves saying "Saints fans took the opportunity to show solidarity with Ukraine" as if it was a major political statement Whereas the truth is we were given free scarves by the club in the team colours and most fans were still singing about Stuart Armstrongs hair

It feels like football fans are being used a bit by the govt/ Premier league PR machine? If it was organic fans organised stuff then fair enough but it's all being micro managed at premier league level , just feels a bit forced

Almost exactly 2 years on since we played them last game with crowds before covid. 1-0 home defeat, goal by Saint-Maximin , could well be the same again if we play like we did yesterday. Chris Wood always seems to play well against us as well, tricky combination of height / strength and pace if we're missing Salisu. The way they had the previous game called off leaves a bad taste and I know wound up a few at St Mary's so hopefully we're up for this. Has anyone explained why we have to play them on Thursday? Still 3300 Geordies filling a sold out away end apparently so will be a decent atmosphere, got to take your hat off to Howe they are on a great run and look full of confidence, clearly no relegation worries anymore. If Newcastle win they'll only be 4 points behind us with a game in hand.
-
Over the years Courtinho always seems to hit form against us, or at least it feels like that, been a good signing for Villa.
-
If it is his hamstring might be a while longer , got to have him in for Man City Cup game at least
-
Missed out on our chance to make up points on Wolves and West Ham today, now looking over our shoulders in the table at Villa, Palace, Leicester, Brighton all just a couple of points behind. Disappointing result and Newcastle up next suddenly looks a really tricky game with the form they are on.
-
Good to see, looks pretty tight at the top of the table between 3 or 4 teams, does anyone know if you get a trophy for winning Southern division or does it end with a play off against Northern league winners?
-
We'll have a whole week to build up to the City game , then a two week break for internationals so no excuse to rest any players
