  1. There's a two week break after this game so giving squad players a run out just because it's the cup doesn't make any sense to me
  2. Looked like he was even having a laugh with Foster about it near the end , such a weak ref
  3. Watford wanted it more , used every trick in the book , none of out players in the refs ear at all just plodded along, far too nice
  4. Would be magic, it would be a huge lift for the club to do that and get to Wembley. I'm taking the nippers and helped out a friend who wanted to take kids as well in the family bit, making sure I set their expectations at a realistic level, hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
  5. Oxford lost so also dropped points but Ipswich have quite a lead now, to be fair they've beaten us in the league and knocked us out of the FA Cup (harsh on pens) but they seem to have the edge on us can't really complain if they win the division.
  6. Terrible result , going to leave too much to do at this rate and could end up with nothing to show from a good season.
  7. Had tons of space if he turned on the ball, but didn't even contemplate it, back we go with the ball, both Bednarek and Salisu were awful on the ball today
  8. There's always a bit of hope (not lost to them twice this season) and it's a one off cup game, but when I look at the three "performances" I've seen this week resulting in really poor defeats combined with calamity defending i sense we're ripe for a battering. City sometimes are happy to coast to an easy 2-0 and don't always go in for the kill so there's that as well. Will Broja have concussion be allowed to play? KWP was on the wrong end of some nasty challenges as well, need all out key players available and top of their game.
  9. We're probably overdue another 0-9. We don't seem to be able to defend at the moment, building up to another collapse.
  10. Absolutely woeful, dreading the Man City game now, play like that and we'll collect our 0-9 must be due another soon

    Other Games 21/22

Leeds are home to Norwich today, if they win that it will give them a bit of a cushion, big game for them.

Massive game next week v West Ham, almost a title decider although we still need to play Chelsea twice as well
  13. Home end showing as sold out for this. Still some tickets on general sale in the away end.

    Other Games 21/22

They're core support is small, topped up at home games by people who just want to go to a game in a nice part of London. Away numbers always poor unless it's a derby or really big game, thing is you could walk from Fulham to QPR, Chelsea, Brentford, perhaps even Wimbledon so it's a tiny catchment area compared to us. Looking forward to going there next season, hopefully after the new stand has fully reopened so they give us a full allocation.
  15. Their defence must have the odd good game to keep clean sheets at Man Utd and Villa last month though, agree we should win but not feeling confident.
  16. Chelsea have Middlesbrough away in the FA Cup next week, tickets were due to go on sale but that has been paused for now, will be interesting to see what gets arranged for that as will set a precedent. Difference for us is loads of Chelsea live in Surrey / Hampshire so a trip to St Mary's to sit in the home end would be quite easy for them, in fact they'd probably make a point of doing it in protest in how they've been treated if it comes to that.
  17. Going to sell out quickly I think, Kingsland and Itchen stands sold out, not many left in the Chapel. Shouldn't have the issue with away fans in the home end, Man Citys allocation has made general sale for them, was still 1000 left last night so no need for them to buy in our bit.
  18. Don't think so, I've been holding an hour , typical Saints
  19. An old work colleague of mine is a long time Watford season ticket holder, usually quite optimistic fan but says he's starting to give up hope, just too many players who don't look committed. Things were looking up particularly away from home, they kept clean sheets last month at Burnley, Villa and Man Utd and only conceded one at West Ham so looked like they'd worked out how to defend. Could be a 0-0 then.
  20. It's been a bad week for Watford as well with two defeats, I thought they'd picked up a bit after drawing at Old Trafford and winning at Villa. Who knows how we'll line up or react to last nights defeat, would be nice to stop this turning into a bad run.
  21. Welcome back the Saints we know and love
  22. There will definitely be major cash flow issues, their bankers will be having sleepless nights as previously they probably approved bank facilities secured with Abramovich collateral
  23. Saints have changed Chelsea at home to purchase history only, probably know loads will be looking to buy in the home end if not able to have an away allocation
  24. I'm sure that's happened before, when Pompey were going into administration I don't think they were trusted to sell tickets on behalf of other clubs so their fans had to buy direct from the home club so money never touched the skates bank account, I'm sure something similar could be done.
  25. Have you seen the first class open return fares on South West trains? Even the Saudis will gulp at the price
