  1. Yep only about 35 left , might be some more restricted view to go on sale but with general sale starting this morning will definitely sell out, taking good numbers away at the moment, 3000 at Spurs, 3100 at Man Utd, another 3000 going to Villa. Burnley might not be quite so popular
  2. Is that one of those Liverpool fans who likes Everton or one that hates them? Always seems to go one way or the other with them. If we take other recent "sell outs" as example the difference seems to be down to hospitality not selling Tottenham - 31,304 Manchester City - 31,178 There's quite a lot of hospitality left for the Everton game, just not enough demand for such high priced premium packages at a club like Saints compared to London clubs. Kingsland premium seats also struggle to sell, may well be a good view but £60 for a game like this is too much. If the Everton and Norwich games do sell out it could be time to reopen the discussion on stadium expansion and our massive catchment area....
  3. I'll go for 31,100 It's a Cat B game so like other high priced games it's the Kingsland Centre and hospitality that will struggle to sell. Everton sold out their 3300 allocation.
  4. I reckon more of block 43 will go on sale after these are gone, can't see Norwich bringing that many on a Friday night even with their improved form. Odd thing is Saints are selling block 43 for £15 adults which is cheaper than other blocks in the Northam, hopefully will be a big crowd and decent atmosphere like the Villa game was on a Friday night.
  5. There's a few things I don't understand about this league, 4 teams relegated yet only one team goes up (and actually just into a play off) how come the league above is such a closed shop? For a league pyramid to work you need to have reasonable movement between the divisions, the season is already over for many of these sides.

  7. There's a rare chance to watch the u17s this week , Wednesday lunchtime , shame its not half term this week would have had a few youngsters watching

    Other Games 21/22

Yep can't see there being anything at stake in that one
  9. I always look out for those half and half Scarf/ Ronaldo video types to make sure when we score go absolutely mental celebrating knocking their phone and Scarf flying if possible
  10. I forgot about him, also expected Dele Ali goal based on comments writing him off on the Dele Ali thread, not looking good for us
  11. I'd say at the moment Stephens is better than the Gorilla who is a bit erratic and gets carried away with enthusiasm, i remember reading about the contract extension for Stephens but that has never been confirmed? He must be due a testimonial soon? Maybe delay is over negotiations on who the opponents will be for that

    Sport Republic

Croatia away game pre season would be decent, makes sense to play them in the Dragan Cup , are they near Split / Dubrovnik?
  13. I like him and think he gets a lot of unfair stick at times. He loves winding up the opposition and is doing a very good job of it, Antonio did not like playing against him earlier this season and got himself so frustrated ended up sent off. Stephens has been around a long time now, what's the latest on his contract?
  14. It's great, I know every point is worth the same but it's definitely more satisfying taking them from United / Spurs etc, playing without fear against those sides gives me hope with a bit of luck we can have a good go at the FA cup
  15. 1-1 draw , Richarlison for them , frustrating game. We've been excellent recently but we do seem to like a draw.
  16. RIP mate, I've not been on this thread for a while and just noticed the title change, reading through the last few pages emotional stuff, sad times.
  17. Looking at the line up, Kayne Ramsay, we even had a player called Tchaptchetat who seems to have given up football since?! Blimey doubt there's been a weaker team in Premier league history
  18. How have the Glebe FC fans taken the news?
  19. We used to give the normal away allocation plus block 42 and a tiny bit of block 41, rest of Northam stayed as it was. They seem to prefer creating more segregation leaving block next to Itchen North empty and giving up whole end to away fans
  20. Looks like we're giving West Ham the whole Northam, same as Coventry , prices a bit more this time I don't think this will be as popular as less families will go midweek https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2022-02-11/tickets-southampton-fc-west-ham-cup-tie-ticket-details-confirmed
  21. I would absolutely love to see Everton go down I really would, they've been a bogey team for us over the years especially at Goodison and I've often found their fans to be arrogant and see themselves as such a massive club. It would also see us rise the table in clubs with most successive years in top flight. Older fans I know have a particular dislike of them , just mention Highbury 1984. I just can't see it though, they'll put a run together and will probably get something against us , Deli Ali scrappy toe poke over the line 88th minute
  22. They'll be fine, Everton will do what's needed to stay up, Goodison atmosphere, remember when they had to beat Wimbledon at home to survive and Hans Segers dived over the ball a few times.
  23. I think Norwich could still catch Brentford
  24. More importantly who is on the VAR? As long as its not Dean that's the main thing. Still can't believe we sold out 3100 for an early kick off up there, bound to be quite a few days trippers going to see Ronaldo and Old Trafford (there always is) but hopefully regular away travellers will make plenty of noise.
  25. Handy for those getting the train home, if West Ham bring 5000 should lay on a proper old school football special train
