  1. Off to see it Sunday at Harbour Lights. Looking forward to it.
  2. Two Brothers, by Ben Elton. Well, not 'actually' reading it yet: got it for Christmas and it's still by the side of the sofa. I'm sure it's good though.
  3. Babyshambles.
  4. Maybe they have, but didn't realise TSW was on the list of creditors.
  5. [quote=Lord Duckhunter;1575838 That is a proper non-league atmosphere, right there.
  6. I don't know much about this fella. I'd just like us to sign him: so I can taunt some Liverpool fans that they couldn't compete with us in the transfer market for Ramirez or Astori.
  7. Somewhere in Morocco: Agadir or Essaouira if you want a beachy holiday, or Marrakech if you've never been there. Similar temperatures to the Canaries at that time of year, but way more interesting.
  8. I'm after one of these, but want the Bluetooth and DAB model :-(
  9. If you're that unsure whether to shave or not, then you're clearly not a decision-maker. Potential employers can no doubt see what kind of a man you are and you're probably unemployed for good reason. I'd say do what you want, as you're not going to get the job anyway.
  10. What area do you live or mainly use it in, out of interest? I've been with O2 for years. Whilst the voice coverage is good, the data coverage is flakey. My iPad is with 3 and the data coverage knocks the socks off of O2 - both for speed and places that it works well with full 3G coverages when O2 has none or GPRS only. I was actually thinking of switching my phone SIM to 3, so would be interested to learn where you have coverage issues.
  11. Boots Shave Stick. Better than any foam or gel.
  12. Anytime around rush hours and you'll get held up on the Cowfold Road (A272 section after A24) which is why, after years of doing early morning runs to Gatwick, I always do the A29 through Pulborough. You can always do that route in the same time.
  13. If you're going to do M25/M23, it's daft to go A27/A3 from the centre or west side of the city (you may as well do A31/A3); If you're starting from the east side then fair enough. You still risk theA3 at Guildford and M25 problems though. From the east side of town I'd always go A27/A29/A264.
  14. What don't we just give them the Isle Of Wight in exchange?
  15. Calm down TDD. Keep your wig on.
  16. I used to use this route, but got caught in traffic too many times around Storrington or on the A272 if I cut through on the Cowfold Road. Of course, my route takes in the Sainsburys superstore at Pulborough for healthy snacks instead of a burger can, but if you can live without a cholesterol burger, I would recommend it ;-)
  17. If you leave anytime after 06:00 on any weekday morning, you'll hit traffic at Ligh****er/ Junction 3 on the M3 and, probably on the M25 as well if you go M3 / M25 / M23. You should do it in 2hrs though, although it can take longer if there's any accidents along the way. Any time of the day when I know there could be delays, to save miles and minimise any potential problems en route, I go A27 through Chichester > A29 through Pulborough > A264 through Five Oaks > I then ignore the signs for Gatwick which shove you onto the M23, but instead go through Crawley on the A23 and some shortcuts depending on which terminal I need to get to ; but from the A264 you may want to follow the signs if in doubt. There's never really any delays or hold ups like you can experience on the M3/M25 route, it's a nicer drive, shorter distance and you should do it in around 1hr 45ish every time. If you were travelling later in the day or setting off an hour or more earlier, then you would probably do it in 1hr 30ish on the M3 route, but that will 9 times out of 10 take you a while longer if you're not on your way on the M3 before 6am.
  18. Patrick Super Keegans in kangaroo skin were the absolute nuts. The softest, most comfortable boots around in the early 80s.
  19. I agree. I commented during the Sunderland game how only Kelvin and the officials were wearing black boots. Every other player on the pitch was wearing stupid namby-pamby coloured boots. I would join your 'Bring Back Black Boots' campaign in a heartbeat.
  20. I will quote "bottle of wine" like a 'get out of jail free' card ;-)
  21. He's banned from driving, not banned from picking up his phone when he wants a lift ! I even gave him today's lift for free as it was his birthday. I'm so nice.
  22. I'm still sat outside his gaff. He hasn't had it cut yet... your joke might've worked otherwise!
  23. He went to go in Barbers door, but ended up in the greengrocer's... I just thought I'd get that one in before the idiotic haters come out to play.
  24. 31 today and getting a birthday haircut !
  25. This has "Galaxy S3" written all over it. Why, when you already have a MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad you are even contemplating a pi instead of an ATV, is astonishing.
