It's ok. It was the Preston match. Their official site has pulled the story with details on it, but someone on POL had copied n pasted it, so all's good. I've won the argument, no thanks to you lot :-p
-
Just a quick one, fellas: I'm sure I recall they did a ticket offer recently - something like 2 adults & 2 kids for £20 rings a bell - can anyone remember what game it was, the details, or can you point me to the link or page on here. I can't find it and have to win an argument with a skate chump online. This is a serious business.

Life's great. I'm drinking on of Turkishes 660ml bottles of Peroni.

Yes, if you use XBMC. I don't bother, as my MacMini is also connected to my tv, so I get my streams through that.
-
It depends if it's 1987 or 2013. With a MacMini connected (but hidden) to my tv as well as a Jailbroken Apple TV2, things 'just work' instantly. I am pleased for you that you have a hobby though. Have you actually had many hours of media consumption with it, compared to the hours of tinkering?
-
My Apple TV can do all of that in one... plus a whole lot more. If you've already got that set up and are happy with it, then you don't 'need' an Apple TV.
-
Of course it is. Are you deliberately being obtuse? (That's dense/dim/stupid, not an acute angle) There are four definitions for you. You're trying to pretend definition 4 does not exist and make people think they are religious nutters.
-
That's what I would do, plus keep a lookout on eBay for someone selling an ATV2 unjailbroken and unaware! You do see them on there from time to time with people upgrading to ATV3 for the 1080P.
-
The 'faith' in your football team is 'loyalty or allegiance to that team'. It is a different definition to a religious person's faith of 'a strong belief in a supernatural power'. Stop being a ****.

I know which one I'd prefer to have sat alongside my TV :-)

Anyone with other iOS (or OS X) devices would be stupid to opt for the pi or anything else instead of an Apple TV; Being able to effortlessly AirPlay content from your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or Mac/MacBook is worth the investment alone.
-
With Mountain Lion you can AirPlay Mirror from your Mac to the Apple TV, yes.
-
I have one. Rather than paying stupid money on eBay for a Jailbroken one, you can sometimes come across standard ATV2s - it's easy enough to jailbreak it yourself and stick aTV Flash on it. I'm a bit out of the loop on which firmware is still JBable, so double-check. I can send you a copy of the .dmg if it comes to it. With aTV Flash, you can stream pretty much any file. I download .avi .mpeg4 and .mkv files to either my MacBook or MacMini and the (aTV) Media app allows you to search your other network-connected machines and select any of these files to play. I've played with XBMC and Plex, but don't feel it adds a great deal of versatility that you can't get from the standard (aTV) Media app. With aTV Flash, you also get Couch Surfer (a web browser). Whilst it's capable enough, you're better off just mirroring your iPad to Apple TV. The biggest life/media changer for you will be sending music/photos/video from your iPhone, iPad or MacBook to your tv via AirPlay. As you've got other iOS devices, an Apple TV is a no brainer really, whether Jailbroken or not* * if you just want to buy a standard ATV 3, you can (depending on your MacBook age/firmware) just screen-mirror to the ATV. Alternatively, instead of mirroring, Beamer (http://beamer-app.com/) is worth looking at.

Mods, if I received an infraction from St Chalet for this:- Shouldn't he be receiving one for his sarcastic and snidey personal message to Turkish, which contravenes the Forum Rules "DO NOT comment on another user's personal life... " Also, I couldn't find button to report a pointless and pathetic infraction.

The obscenely fat shít one then.
-
What pub are you in?
-
He is quality. Sadly, we need another two clones of him with the same vision, as his movement and footballing brain is miles ahead of the rest of the team.
-
So, which one were you? The obscenely fat one, or the grotesquely fat one?
-
You on PS3 or Xbox? I'll let you keep your eyes open, or else you won't know why you're crying.
-
I spend most of my defending on Right Trigger and Right Shoulder button, jockeying and closing down, controlling 2nd man and switching/timing tackles.
-
I only play as Saints. 4-1-3-2 From current default team I put Davis in Goal and Fox at Left Back. Then on about 76mind bring on Mayuka, Guly and Davis for (usually) Lallana, Puncheon and Cork/Schmeiderlin depending on tiredness or bookings. Ramires' dribbling, turning and passing is awesome, so use him as much as you can. Defending is one of my strengths, so winning the ball and passing it around and using chipped through balls is my usual technique, with crosses/headed goals from Lambert fairly common. I used to float around Divs 6/7 like you, but am now steady in Div 4 with the occasional season in Div 3... so persevere, it will come! If you're on Xbox, feel free to add me 'Essruu' if you fancy an occasional head-to-head or to exchange tips!

When will pompey fans accept that their money-raising and club share ownership efforts have been rubbish when compared to the likes of Hearts, Rangers, Exeter, Swansea, etc.?
-
Maybe I should clarify: Those conscripted during the war and forced to do things that they may otherwise not have willingly done are fully deserving. It's the ones who willingly sign up to any of the Armed Forces that shouldn't be given medals just for doing the job they willingly signed up for.
-
I still don't really understand why any forces personnel get medals just for doing their job to the best of their ability.
