Well said, some common sense on here for a change.

I notice most people's selections contain players who hardly played any games for Saints. Maybe we should have a team of rubbish players who at least played 10 games. This would include the likes of; Donkey Powell Oliver Bernard Paul Wooden (Wotton) Ryan Smith (not sure if he played ten games?)

A week since the last game is plenty of time to be rested for a game. Saints should play strongest team available to win game rather than risk losing/drawing then adding more pressure to Colchester game.

He's good enough to play in the Championship judging on recent players who have played at that level. Gillett (who i rate btw) is currently playing for in form Doncaster and i think Hammond is a better player.

But there are plenty of those playing in League 1. Lambert and Hammond for example.

Why are people discussing Beckford? do you really think there is a chance he would come to Saints? There are plenty of other strikers in League 1 that would be realistic signings.

Lambert and Connolly did not get any decent service or support from midfield today and was constantly chasing long balls. He certainly did not hide.

Just got back from game and starting to thaw out. Thought Saints defended well with Perry and Jaidi our best players. Morgan S was missed today as midfeld was short on creativity and balls played forward to the strikers were poor. Saying that despite Dirty Leeds pressing most of the game Bart only had one save to make early in 2nd half and Saints could have nicked an equaliser at the end. Snodgrass was their best player and scored a decent wining goal. Beckford was a disgrace and spent most of the game falling over. Did laugh at his strop after being subbed.

Nice one! 3 points for Saints then :-)
