The Rink End stand has 967 seats and looked packed as i had to go to near the far corner to stand at the back so definately more than 635.

Just got back and journey back through torrential rain. Thought Saints still looked shaky at the back in the first half in difficult windy conditions with Harding looking poor with his positioning. Otherwise a good solid team performance with top man being Lallana. With Lallana, Connolly and Lambert we should beat most teams in this league. Looked like more than 600 odd away fans in a packed looking away end.

+1 I've never liked Spurs much and Redkrap there makes me dislike them more.

Holmes has played 107 games since 2002 average of 13 games a season and scoring 7 goals. I'd say that says it all about a career starting as a promising 15 year old at Derby but mostly spent at lower league teams on loan and mostly with long periods of time out injured. His early season form last season seems to have made a huge impression on alot of people on here. IMO i've only seen him play a couple of decent games and don't think he merits a place in the first team at the moment.

Even if i was not going to the game i would hope Saints select a decent side similar to the 1st round game with Bristol Rovers. Otherwise the club would be taking fans for mugs and should let them know beforehand if they are not taking the completion seriously. Luckily Pardew has played strong teams in cup games and realises winning games is important. I can't understand anyone who doesnt care about the FA Cup, a competition which has meant alot to his club. Saints have the chance of getting through to the 3rd round and playing a premier league team which could result in a cup upset, extra revenue and possibly a great game and day out etc for fans. Maybe it's a sign of the modern day fickle football fan and sad that some fans don't care about the FA Cup just because it is unlikely Saints will get far in the competion. I bet if Saints get through to play Man td or Arsenal etc the same people will want tickets.
