I would see Clasie as more of a replacement for Davis, Ward-Prowse or Ramirez than Morgan.

With what we currently have, we have the option of 2 up front, Long and Pelle. But we don't have enough wide players to feed them. Tadic, yes, Isgrove as cover, but that's about it.

Perhaps I worded my post a little clumsily. The club would lose trust from its paying customers if they sold Morgan. Ralph was so unequivocal that he would have to leave if Morgan went. I wasn't trying to speak for everyone.

Difficult to argue against any of that.

Don't think Levy would have any problem whatsoever selling him to us. He wants rid, wants good money, and doesn't want to strengthen any team chasing a European place.

Even a world class player like Alexis Sanchez is struggling to come to terms with English football. I suppose he's crap as well. Give Pelle a bit of time to settle.

Can't comment on yesterday, only listened to it on the radio. We do seem short of a real no. 10. Ramirez would be ideal there, but is injured too much for my liking. Would like Ron to sort this out in the window. Also another wide player would give the option of going with 2 up front, or giving more options with the present shape. Couldn't have been that hard for West Brom to double up on Pelle and Tadic yesterday, and that's the attacking threat gone. Until the end of the window, we're still a work in progress. Anyone who thought that a team so different from last season would hit the ground running straight away is a fool.

Encouraging as last week was, we really need to back it up with a home win. Personally, I think another week of training together should see more improvements today on the pitch. Pelle in particular made 1 or 2 great little runs that weren't picked out last week.

If we win tomorrow, we should all wear the same pants for the next game. Leave them soiled and don't wash them until we lose. To be fair, it's only the skidders that hold most of my pants together.

Decent post. I am astounded that there seems to be plenty on here who don't rate him. He obviously hasn't done well in a lot of Football Manager games.
