Les Reed has sold the coach to Liverpool for top dollar. Apparently the front wheels have been there since last season. He is currently negotiating with Coliseum for a vehicle replacement. He said he doesn't mind if it has bench seats and a bucket to pee in, because it might just be better than what we had last season.

With the cash we've got at our disposal, I would be extremely disappointed with Redmond.

The only reason Gazza can improve is because it's impossible for him to get any worse. Poor handling, poor technique and as brave as your average Frenchman. If Irene gets his wish to move on, we should go for Friedel. He is now 3rd choice at Spurs and would give good cover for Forster this season. He is also the consummate professional, who would be happy to make whatever contribution he could for the good of the club, rather than throw his toys out of the pram like some sort of w*nker. When Spurs signed Lloris, Friedel reacted like the sort of pro you would hope Boruc was, but obviously isn't.

My opinion, not an absurd judgement. We are stronger in the keeper department, weaker in defence, weaker in attack. At this moment in time our business has been unsatisfactory. But there are still a few days to put things right. Ron and Les have got tens of millions at their disposal to bring in decent players. I am on no way criticising who we've signed. Tadic in particular looks very good, as do Bertrand and I think Pelle will come good. A role needs to be sorted for Long, you don't bench a a £12m player. At this moment in time I don't see us as a comfortable mid-table side. We are 1 or 2 injuries away from real trouble. Whether what I have said is factually untrue can only be proved by results over the season. It is purely my opinion.

Anyone who decides to make their lives in this country should realign their nationality to British. In much the same way as immigrants moving to the USA become Americans. If people don't want to become British they shouldn't come here. I am not talking about them abandoning their cultures, but they should attempt to integrate, and be proud to be British. One thing that gets me in the Rotherham tragedy is that the police and other services saw these abusers as Pakistani. Race should never have come into their thinking on this issue, or to be honest any other issue. We should all be British.
