So the Germans are trying to exterminate the Jewish race, still believe in the supremacy of the Aryan race and want to impose their National Socialism on all they conquer? Grow up you idiot.

This is not a Churchill moment you imbecile.

Skytext say he he is fit and available.

Spot on. We need the width to create space and stretch teams.
-
I agree that refs are given a hard time, in general. But, Atwell is a complete joke and way out of his depth. Any half-decent Wessex League footballer would be a better ref than him.

Happy days then. We've probably got a few out of contract at the end of the season, plus I'm sure 1 or 2 can be moved on. We might even find a team daft enough to actually buy Puncheon.

Doncaster 1 - 0 Saints - Post Match Reaction
Wade Garrett replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
I thought first half v Hull was average because we played Morgan, Cork and Hammond together and had no real width. Sounds like we struggled similarly today. Disappointed, and I think it shows how important Chaplow is for us. -
Spot on. They've been a bit precious with their response to the Empty Vessel Clarkson.

He has still trousered millions from tax-payers money for presenting a programme. So not absolutely wrong.
-
Unfortunately, there is a demand for stories like this as tabloids know they sell papers. I don't see the fascination of what any person's sexuality is.
-
Well done dune. A response as witty as your wet dream Clarkson's.
-
He is a hypocrite of the highest order, moaning about public servants 'gilt-edged pensions', while trousering millions off the BBC for presenting a programme about cars. As for what he said, to be honest, who gives a toss. In my book he's just made himself out to be more of a c*nt than I thought he was.

Public Sector Cuts V Tax Rises For Those Of Us That Pay Their Wages
Wade Garrett replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
We might pay their wages, but they earn what they get paid the same as everyone else. Good luck to the striking workers. I have every sympathy when they only agreed changes to their pension arrangements in 2008. It seems the Government are happy to fund bankers and their lavish lifestyles without question, but take back from 'easy targets'. The firm I work for recently changed our pension arrangements, with our agreement. I would feel angry if they came back in a couple of years and said 'f*ck you, pay even more, retire even later, on less money'. Typical Tory attitude. -
Fingers crossed.

Can't believe we would be arrogant enough to under-estimate any team after what happened at Bristol last week.
-
Richardson was excellent. Thought their full-back did a decent job on Lallana.
-
We looked so much better second half with the 4-4-2. Much more attacking down both flanks. I didn't like our shape in the first half. De Ridder did well, as did Richardson (again) and Fonte. The way Hull knocked the ball around in the attacking third was very similar to how we play. We really miss Chaplow, hope he's not out for long.

Agreed. Guly didn't have his best game last night, and to be honest, I thought his workrate was pretty average as well. But everyone has off days, and the last thing we should do is get on their backs when they're not performing on the odd occasion.

I feel sorry for my brothers who have got season tickets in the Chapel. I've sat with them a couple of times now, and there are a couple of blokes behind who talk crap for the whole 90 minutes. It is so difficult sometimes to resist the urge to ask them to stop spouting so much crap within my earshot.

It would level the playing field a bit. Lots of multi-nationals don't actually pay the full rate of CT, so giving the same levels of tax to SME's would give them cash to expand.

The facts are that the banks were happy to take billions of our money to cover for their reckless ways, but they don't then fulfil their part of the bargain by lending to get the wheels of the economy turning. In the meantime, like pigs at the trough, they continue to pay themselves an exhorbitant amount. The mafia have got nothing on the banks.

The trouble is VAT rises proportionately affect the low-earners more than the high earners. The trouble with Cameron's government is that they are hell bent on following their ideologies and are blind to other options. They have handled reducing the public purse clumsily, have done nothing yet to cut off money to the spongers and won't works, and haven't seen the increase in tax-revenue because there is no growth. The banks are the key to the economy growing, but they are not lending, and Osborne doesn't know what to do. I'd like to see a reduction in corporation tax. It might decrease our revenues short term, but long term we would get more businesses growing and less to pay in dole handouts.

I would imagine that the workers about to be thrown on the scrapheap at Bombardier would say it was more than a judgement call or a fiasco. Why they didn't restart the tendering process I will never know. But then its only a few more northerners out of work.

It wasn't 'hand-tieing' legislation.
