  1. So are hosties for when we are trying to put the game to bed, so to speak?
  2. Or, the administrator is hoping that the hmrc wins the football creditor rule before the end of the season and the deferred wages get added to the unsecured pot.
  3. Done
  4. Found wifi- get in Coyr Btw go easy on the pompey thread, I was offline for 36 hours and it took almost the same again to catch up.
  5. Hope you get a good pension - £8 a pint.
  6. Wonder how old Terry the Builder feels about that - bet he's proud to be a skate
  7. The original judge [Proudman J] was a charitable assets lawyer and she was a little out of her depth,” claims one partner. “I don’t think she was used to dealing with these sorts of contested provisions or able to understand the commercial context.” http://www.thelawyer.com/court-of-appeal-comes-to-the-rescue-in-european-directories-restructure/1006041.article Not sure how savvy this one is
  8. Still 4 more that they need to field a legal team.
  9. Hmm.. Spurs: We got a couple of young uns you could have. PFC: Great, send them down. Spurs: No worries, send us a deposit against their wages and they're yours PFC: Oh...
  10. . I suspect that the rest of the travelling support are thinking "Thank F... for that!"
  11. 14 players - that's two legal teams worth - stop whinging and get on with it
  12. The simple solution is peroxide. My granny swore by it , although she never mentioned putting it up her bum hole. God rest her ® soul, and bearsy 's for that matter
  13. The idea of an escrow account has merit but not for the protection of the football creditors. The escrow accounts should be there for the benefit of the tax man. The second you pay the players, you deposit the tax into the escrow. You miss the escrow payment - 5 points deduction, and another 5 points for the following month etc. Football clubs will then take there obligations to the tax man more seriously. Regrads to the selling clubs, perhaps they should accept a smaller fee in cash up front, that way they won't be at risk from the buying club never paying the balance. Paying installments for players is just paying for them on tick - if you can't afford them outright or cannot raise the finance from your bank, then you cannot afford them full stop.
  14. As long as they can get 7 players onto the pitch, they can start the game - they have plenty of spares :lol:
  15. In the spirit of "I'm screwed" one upmanship. Going away on Friday for a week with no tinternet. They have to be liquidated on Friday otherwise I will never catch up.
  16. Locksmith is expensive When we moved I had all the lock in the house changed, including a new yale lock, new barrels in six doors and two deadlocks on the back door - it came to something like £500
  17. AFAIK chinny sold PFC to CSI for £17m. Chinny also lent CSI the £17m to buy PFC. If the ownership of PFC reverted back to Chinny on the failure of CSi to make the first payment, then all chinny got back was his shares in PFC, which now they have gone into admin are worth jack. Whether Chinny has some mechanism to shift the debt backwards and forward between CSI and PFC remains to be seen, although I am damned if I can see a legal way of doing it.
  18. Simply the bestest
  19. Nah..if their results are expunged from the record we gain 5 points on West Ham
  20. and that £2.5m to fund the admin - you have to hand it to them.
  21. So £2.5m.. Lets assume that the pay up the staff / players £800k and settle the PAYE outstanding £1.6m to stop the WUP (there is another £300k alledged, but let's ignore it). That is £2.4m. At the end of Feb another £800k in wages are due together with £1.6m in PAYE by the 19th March (two pay days in Feb) together with round one of the CVA and a few hundred grand for the aussies. They are not getting away with it.
  22. At least he pays for the privilege - Stump up your fiver before commenting on who should and shouldn't post on here
  23. That will probably send into a some sort of reflux feedback loop which will make it explode
