Assuming that you are not on the troll, they want equality. They want exactly the same rights as a married couple that a civil partnership does not confer. There was a lawyer on the radio stating the differences. Apparently, a adultery is not grounds to dissolve a civil partnership because the is an omission in the legal definition of what constitutes adultery. I may have got that a bit mixed up but that was the general gist.

Quite why anyone should oppose a civil marriage for gays is beyond me.

Have to say that banning the bear is one of the most daft decisions made on this site. I could give you a longer list of knobers on the main board who deserve his fate more. Carp decision. Note to admin, how do I stop you pinching my fiver without asking each year?

I am on the sceptical side of the line, although I don't believe the rhetoric from both sides. If we stay in we are not going to be flooded with baby snatching Romanian gypos as some would have you believe. Conversely, big business is not going to up sticks en mass if we leave. MP bought into a vision laid out by NC. If the Liebherrs dispense with NCs services and change that vision, then MP is quite within his rights to quit because the job he thought he was getting has significantly changed.
