My concern is how NC's departure would affect the team. Both MP and many of the players have bought into NC's vision - a vision which may now not come to fruition. I wouldn't blame MP or the palyers who signed recent long term deals if they feel shafted if the direction of the club changes significantly from what was promised.

IMO. The lieberrs would like input into the serious decisions eg manager change or large transfers. NC wants to be able to do what he wants. What remains to be seen is if NC and the Lieberrs can find some common ground.

I am happy, we are guarenteed (as good as) at least 17th. We are going to get another great lump of cash from the new sky deal next year. We have played some brilliant football. we have a team that is committed to the cause (signing 5 years deals etc). and all that on the back of successive promotions and one trophy. Life is pretty good at the moment.

I think everyone would want the kids to be looked after, however, the issue is "what is in their best interests". Would being split up and taking into care be better than being brought up by these joke of parents. No one knows. What I am certain of, is the current set up will definately fail those kids.

Take the kids into care and chuck the parents out? A little draconian but at the current trajectory, some if not all of these kids will be doing time at some point. Surely the state should intervene now.

On the point of SFC paying what they thought was due. Franny would be mad to bank the cheque,because SFC would then be able to claim he accepted payment in full and final settlement. i have returned cheques to customers who were trying it on, on just that basis. To say the club caved in is ridiculous, to franny caved in is equally silly. Turkish made reference to the cludb rigorously defending itself. May be they did against the element of the bill they disputed,however accepted that something needed to be paid. Only a handful of cases get through the doors of the court, because as soon as you do, you lose control of the outcome and the judges actively encourage all parties to come to a conclusion between themselves. Just look at our fishy friends down the road. I suspect that the outcome was more that SFC wanted to pay, but less than Franny wanted. My old boss used to say if all parties are unhappy with the settlement, then it is probably about right.
