Lallana obviously a popular choice !
-
Just as Rofe was in charge of the cones, I expect Lallana will be in charge of handing out the Alice bands.
-
If he was the choice, why not bring him in now ? I expect he’d leave Sheff Weds given all that’s gone on in recent weeks, and they’re out of contention for the play offs. We’re already down so it wouldn’t be on his record as having taken us down (if such things matter), and he could have a few weeks assessing the squad. Unless of course we’re looking to avoid the compensation dispute we had with Swansea.

Saw some bloke that looked like Rasmus W in the queue at Seven Sisters tube station after the game yesterday. Couldn’t have been could it ? Thought he’d have been chauffeur driven.
-
You’d have hoped that with Kraft going, Rasmus would have had his wings clipped at the same time. Would be surprised if Dragan only half did the job in sorting tweedledum out but leaving tweedledee to carry on his buffoonery.

Rohl seems to be the preferred candidate among the support, and I’d be pleased with him coming here for a return to some Ralphball. But Saints don’t go for the ‘obvious’ so will probably fuck it up, conducting their search etc. I can’t believe they haven’t got a main target, they’ve had weeks to consider this.
-
I think I know the match when they’ll next score a goal at home.
-
Who would you want for next season, if RVN is on his way ?
-
Not a match but in other football news that will resonate with Saints fans from our L1 days, it's announced that the original 'Wotsit' is retiring. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/c8x84j7jv2xo

Tomorrow: lets not have any footage on MOTD2 of saps crying. Lets have a relegation party. Anyone bringing any beachballs? Embrace the failure. Greatest era we've ever had etc.
-
Great Escape and all that …. (No don’t believe that bollocks now any more than I did in December or even October).
-
Yes, think tomorrow show be a relegation party, let’s not have MOTD2 showing some nods crying. They’ve had a whole season to get used to the idea of going down, shouldn’t be a shock to the system.

Christ, I’d forgotten all about Taylor. Just googled him to find he’s still with us and didn’t go out on loan. What a pointless signing. Have to wonder whose choice he was.
-
Agree on both points. Loan Bazunu out so he’s nowhere near our team. Michael Cooper - we were linked with him at the end of last season. Glad for him we didn’t sign him as he’d have had his confidence blown apart behind our defence in the Premier League this season. Wonder if Sheff Utd will look to upgrade and be one of the clubs interested in taking Ramsdale back if they’re promoted.

Why is Downes out ?
-
And don’t forget Son will win a penalty with a suspect dive… and Maddison likes a goal or two against us. So that’s four. Hope they take their foot off the pedal for the remaining seventy minutes

Inevitable. Just get it sorted Saints.
-
Dennis Wright possibly the best player but Dennis easily the most popular among those that saw him play. (Mark Fry - didn’t he piss Marcus and Cortese off to the point they almost walked away?)
-
He's still 18 isn't he ? MLT was in his 20's when he was at his best, providing the end product. MLT was also playing in a better team when he started out with someone like Case to guide him. Bit unfair to make the comparison although it's inevitable that supporters will, in the same way as in his early days MLT was compared with Channon from time to time.

Agree with this. Several times last season I felt we lost momentum due to substitution, although on occasion they proved match winners (Fraser at Hull and possibly Millwall). All in all it often disrupted us and we became disjointed. Have to wonder if sometimes it’s done to keep players getting game time ! Annoyingly opponents make late substitutions to slow the game down at the end. We make some of ours in 89th and 80th minute like last night, and still concede. That though might also reflect the crap that Juric has available to him.
