I thought at one point Solak had extended this to two others from his media group, the Gerkin bloke (can’t easily forget that name) - although think he was then put into Goztepe/ and his former CEO at the media outfit, Victorya Boklag (or similar) but can’t trace it. Any recollection from others ? Question in my mind is who will be conducting the internal review, Dragan himself, or others?

Wonder what the talk will be this year, and whether Dragan will be so hospitable.

What I find staggering is how this seemed to be left to Parsons to handle. Given the implications I’d have expected the owners to be directing Parsons, taking legal advice on day one to manage the fall out and defence.

Think there is little or no chance of Frank being brought to Saints. He’ll have other offers (Palace, Fulham perhaps?) Big question for me though is whether Frank despite the name and reputation earnt at Brentford would have the desired effect. Yes, great time at Brentford, but how much if that was down to him, or the system they have in place ? The fact they put someone else in and you didn’t notice the change leaves a bit of a question for me.(Best ignore his time at Spurs, bit of a basket case). This is ‘the system’ we’ve strived for, that head coaches are easily replaced and new ones just slot it. But we’ve clearly ballsed it up. Could be like Nuno, hot property at Wolves but in a system and club to suit him, or Curbishley years ago. Charlton worked out, but not repeated anywhere else. But academic as I don’t think he’ll be at Saints.

Still the anger stage for me. Angry that: 1)We were stupid enough to do this in the first place 2)That we seemed to roll over and accept it without a better fight 3)That the name and reputation of the club has been brought down (although can live with that to some degree) 4)That Tonda has needlessly jeopardised the next few years - possibly longer - with the loss of players, and possibly self-destructed what looked a very bright future career. Hope the club (and him) can bounce back.
