Many on here questioned the signing, bloke did not want to come here from May onwards, it was inevitable that there would be some unrest eventually. And you're right about it being a shame ; undoubted talent, but mentally skewed and the gamble that MP might get Osvaldo's head in gear simply has not worked.

Yes- I did realise that, but thanks for clarifying for the masses. I would not want someone such as Ottery to get the wrong end of the stick when he reads the board after he's done the hoovering

I think we all knew we were buying a crock of trouble, why be surprised at this ? Just the timing is p!ss poor.

fonte's wife involved again ?

probably better qualified in that regard than Lowe was then No Mr Krueger, no...don't you f'king dare do it... ..does emphasise why Americans & Canadians should not meddle in our national sport * *along with chinks, Malaysians, and Arabs etc to a lesser extent,

Disappointing news really, although it may very well be that the preferred option has a notice period etc. Although this chap may be capable, and better things are lined up, it is the uncertainty that concerns me, especially if we are trying to persuade MP to commit to the project further, without him knowing who he'll be working with/answerable to next season. Ideally, the remains of this season should have given him the opportunity to build the relationship with the new CEO (as well as winning the FA Cup of course).

Steve Lansdown accuses Southampton of "cheating" over Bath Academy
Badger replied to Lallana's Left Peg's topic in The Saints
Racking my brain today, as to the last young player of any note produced by Bristol City - Gary Mabbutt is the only one I can think of, in the what 1980's ? Rovers on the other hand used to develop through the ranks - mostly from South Wales. I think I read once that in the 50's or 60's they once fielded an entire team of Welshmen. -

Both had trials, or were attached to Saints at one point. -

London was prolific - Wallaces as Otttery states, Agboola, Williams, plus others who moved on Steve Neville, 'Chicken George'etc. Newcastle of course produced Shearer, Tont Sealy , (ok so it was responsible for Steve Baker ..). -
Its simply a reverse of the Ajax kit, in those terms its impossible for them to mess it up.

Bath centre had been going for years though, certainly in the 80's during Lawrie's time. -
Few extra details including Innsbruck being in Germany Clearly well researched as ever.

Perhaps Katharina will just email Dalian and ask if he wants to rent one of our fast food outlets in the Kingsland , to flog a few spring rolls before the match and at half time.

Should we rename St Mary's to The Liebherr Arena?
Badger replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
Should have been ' The Rupertdome' when first built. -
No mention of beers available next season, or beer prices either.

But I'd be happy for their name to be on the ice hockey arena when they build it... -

No. St Mary's is an integral part in the Saints history, from the original name. -
Good idea. Having got rid of someone who was I think by most standards was successful, but alienated a few along the way, replace him with someone who was, I think most would agree, unsuccessful and alienated everyone. That would be real progress.

Perhaps you picked up on this phrase on the other thread: being unknown to date, is not a problem, but seeing 'little' & 'Austrian' in the same sentence might strike a chord...

Do not employ Simon Clifford Improve the catering to its former glory Bring back a radio station Put a picture of a train in the boardroom

Does he live in the same street as Dalian Wanda ?

'Arry was of course a dinosaur and that was never going to work. How well disposed Poch might be to someone from another sport remains to be seen, but my initial thought is that he will be sceptical. As for "counsel, advisor" , what do you see him offering ? Not knocking your suggestion but intrigued given your knowledge of Krueger.
