Useless cunt. Get rid. Trouble is on this form there will be no takers. Not sure SR will use Goztepe as a modern form of transportation for our crap players.
-
Think positively. Either he gets this out of his system pre-season, or better still it brings RM & the club out of their coma with regards to the GK position.

Sounds a smokescreen for an outgoing transfer to me. Reckon £40m to Chelsea.

Trouble is we can’t afford Bazunu coming back to be “ as good as he was before”. He has to come back much improved.
-
Well that’s a good start I suppose. But then again many people speculated that Fatima Whitbread had bollocks. You can’t be too careful at these Olympic events.

How do you know they were “women” ? or by whose definition are they “women”?

Current theme shouldn’t be with the soundtrack of classical opera but the traditional terrace song of “ is this a library ?”

Gold medal for fucking rubbish opening ceremonies

Madness if so.

Are you suggesting another Wilcox legacy ??

City though are dealing at a different end of the market and the calibre of player they start with are always more likely to be sold on at a profit. It appears the pool we draw from are journeymen types and unlikely to be highly sought after following a year in Turkey. lis left one Turkish club and is loaned to another. I don't think there are many clubs in the bigger European leagues looking to sign him. Of course we only need to make one real go of it to hail it a great plan

Don't see the merit in this, but they may prove me wrong and arrive here next season . Perhaps they’re bought with the Championship in mind ! But i don't understand the benefit of Saints signing them, unless the thought is that they'll come good in Turkey, and satisfy the work permit criteria. Alternatively why don't Goztepe sign them ?

That Bierhoff bloke would be a good option for CF as well.
-
Think it’s been said on here before but the signings we should make from Celtic are some of their scouting network.

Was a great player when he first arrived and didn’t look out of place among KK, Ball, and Channon. For a while he seemed destined for the top, but he never really regained his form after a back injury. Will remain a favourite player of mine for his part in the KK era, and early 80’s. Especially for his winner at Fratton Park, surely one of the most celebrated goals in my lifetime. Hope he makes a full recovery.

I remember the game on the Friday at Villa Park in Sept 2022. We were crap, and Villa under Gerrard marginally less crap. But in a few weeks they appointed Emery and we appointed Nathan Jones. No wonder our paths diverged from there.

Thought we were linked with a 6’4” South Korean striker rather than this bloke. What’s the South Korea - Japan relationship like these days ? Seems we’re recruiting from both places.
-
Proper Saints team as well, Golac (despite being dispossessed), Channon , Ball., Williams and Moran arrives on the scene Just to think when watching that on a bloody cold January none of us knew that KK would be announced in about a months time.
-
Think he made his debut in January 1980, and scored within a couple of minutes of coming on v Man City.
-
Pretty sure he's been back before.

6 GK's ....

Time was certainly right for a parting of the ways. For me Che Adams was signed as a good Championship striker, with the hope of some potential to step up in the EPL. In fairness to him he seemed to put the effort in, but the standard of the league has moved on a bit. On top of the effort, and good hold up play, he also scored a couple of screamers (Sheff Utd away springs to mind). Thought he served us reasonably well last season as well. But sorry, the lasting memory for me though will be the clusterfuck of an opportunity at Wolves. Don’t begrudge him his move to Torino, hope it works out for him.

Haven’t heard that phrase for a few years!

Won’t be a popular opinion on here, but Long was pretty wasteful in front of goal.
