  1. My mate was Richard Keys’ plumber and did a lot of work for him over the years. Said he’s a really decent bloke, I don’t know if he is, but my mates a good lad so I’ll take his word for it. It’s clearly just an unfunny Dad joke type routine. Man up women FFS, when birds get together they’re just as bad with the old innuendos & jokes about their other halves. Let Keys & Grey get on with their careers, it’s not like they spat at a viewer.
  2. You need experienced pros who are good pros, around the club, especially when you’ve got a bunch of nippers. OR of last season is perfectly capable of coming in & playing the odd game here and there, coming on at the end of games to see them out, but more importantly setting a great example to the younger players day in day out. We’ve got a fucking choir boy as skipper, and we shipped out a player with the correct mentality and professionalism needed. We kept Walcott FFS, keeping a slightly over the hill OR was a no brainer in my opinion.
  3. I had the misfortune to listen in the car on the way home from the game. He’s full of shite, so far up Ralph’s arse it’s untrue. Ask some awkward questions man, he’s just giving Ralph an easy ride. Tessems as bad, did you hear him say “saints won’t win the league” whilst talking about supporters expectations. No shit Sherlock.
  4. I don’t blame Les for going with Peligrino, he had decent pedigree to succeed as manager. He was an Argentine international, who played for Barca, played in two champions league finals, won the Uefa cup and 2 la Ligas. He was then Rafa’s coach, and managed Alavés to their first ever Copa del Rey final. People are calling for Selles to replace Ralph, he hasn’t got that sort of background. With hindsight it was an error, personally I can see exactly why they appointed him.
  5. Dear god
  6. Bit like Starmer trying to get an anti-Semite into number 10.
  7. No chance, he’s been gone too long. Would be a Supreme appointment though .
  8. Hunt called for it to be dropped to 15% during his short lived leadership campaign.
  9. We’re so pedestrian compared to what I’ve seen first half.
  10. I’ve disowned it since day one (not that I’ve ever “owned” them, I’m not a Tory). Whilst I agree with tax cuts, abolishing the 45p rate & not increasing business taxes, you can not increase borrowing to do so. Basically they diagnosed the problem, but their remedy is half cocked. It’s quite remarkable how many “free marketers” don’t know how the markets work. They’d have punished The Uk if we’d voted for Jezza and they are punishing us for Truss. There isn’t a magic money tree, regardless of whether you’re using it to “invest” in public services, pay crusties to do fuck all, or using it to bring in much needed tax reform. Our finances aren’t in the place where tax cuts are possible whilst maintaining market confidence. They’re just not prepared to make the spending cuts necessary to allow tax cuts. The years of cheap money and easy borrowing has infected the common sense of our political class, they seem to believe that borrowing more money is the answer to every single problem. You're right, we are going to reap a huge pile of shit. As nasty as it sounds, you won’t get rid of inflation without making people poorer. Somebody needs to take unpopular decisions and I’m yet to see anyone willing to do so.
  11. Unbelievable isn’t it? Who on earth is advising her, do they really believe it ends with appointing Hunt & reversing her whole economic plan. Once the markets gave her the thumbs down, her only options were spending cuts or resignation. If she thinks chucking KK under the bus means she can tough it out, she’s deluded.
  12. Disgracefully, a pro IRA song was belted out in the Irish chicks dressing room after they qualified for the World Cup. You’d expect better from the fairer sex.
  13. What does Ralph need to do to get the sack. We could lose the next 15 games and blokes like this will still be sticking up for him. No, a new boss won’t automatically win the next game, and no, he won’t turn Adams into a 20 a season man. But he might just pick the best players, in a decent formation, with a coherent tactical plan. He may not make it so fucking obvious to the opposition manager how we’re going to play, and, god forbid, he may encourage us to pass the ball forward as opposed to backwards and sideways at a snails pace. The whole club is riddled with complacency & softness, a new man needs to kick some arses and make us tough to beat. Needs to upset the likes of Klopp & Pep instead of sucking up to them, and if Blackmore doesn’t like him, that’s an added bonus. Fucking hell if it is Dyche our Noddy contingent will be reaching for the smelling salts…….
  14. The problem with local refs is most of them are fucking pony. They clearly don’t deserve to be abused physically or verbally, but fuck me some of them are right planks. Wanting to be a ref should automatically ban you from being one, as nobody with any sense would do it.
  15. I know exactly how the Tory party elects it’s leaders. The book a few need to read is how the PM is appointed, which is the discussion we’re having. If 100 Seats with representatives that take the tory whip prior to Truss , become independents, have no confidence in Truss. She’ll remain leader of the tory party, remain leader of the party with most seats in HoC, but will not remain PM. Her remaining PM is the decision of elected representatives, not her party.
  16. Fucking hell, he came over? The last 2 away games I’ve been to, Brentford & Spurs, he fucked off down the tunnel.
  17. It’s nothing to do with the party. MP’s and MP’s alone are the only people who decide the PM. If the party made Tommy Robinson leader but he didn’t have the confidence of the house, he wouldn’t be PM
  18. So Boris wins an election in Dec 2019, becomes ill in April 2020 and wants to stand down, you’d insist on an election? Ridiculous.
  19. It’s pretty simple. If Sunak could command a majority he’d be PM, he doesn’t need to be leader of the Tory party. Truss can form a government because elected representatives decided they would make the winner of the leadership contest PM, they didn’t have to, and can vote her down any time they choose.
  20. So if the PM dies, does that trigger a GE? What if he wants to step down due to ill health, like Harold Wilson, General Election? What if he does a Biden and starts to lose the plot but the grey suits don’t want an election so prop him up. Isn’t that worse for democracy than a majority of representatives wanting a different leader. The party leader that has the confidence of the house and can form a Government , is PM. If people don’t understand that, it’s their issue. We send people to represent us in Parliament, they decide who the PM is.
  21. We’ve tried to be clever dicks & reinvent the wheel. Football reality is you don’t put nippers in nets based on their potential. He may turn out to be a top top player, but it’s extremely reckless to chuck him into a struggling side like we have. Like Rupert before them, the new owners seem to think they know better than perceived football wisdom and that youngsters are the way forward. That only works if you have experienced proper leaders around them. The only experience we’ve got are son-in-laws, we need to get the odd pirate in to play alongside them. When was the last time one of our keepers dished out a verbal after pathetic defending? We’re too soft and that’s not the environment a nipper will learn in.
